I wasn't in the community during the spotpass drama, though in hindsight it sounds like a silly conservatory. They're basically Creature Campaign characters you can access before the post-game.

the awakening hatred back when it came out really boiled down to "this game is silly and i want to complain"

Eh, Creature Campaign being postgame is more relevant than you think. It's much easier to see them as intentionally non-canon if they come outside of the main story. Otherwise they become a part of the player's personal narrative as to how they beat the game, if used. But even that alone probably would go down fine. If the Creature Campaign characters had actual lore about how they're real and a part of events, I dunno, Lyon saying "nah the other Lyon is a clone made by the Demon King, I was hiding out here the whole time" - then it stops being obviously non-canon. I can ignore the Awakening characters just fine, but it was a silly decision pretty plainly done just so that you can marry absolutely anyone, death and the narrative be damned.

Fun Fact, Emmerynn is by on par with a robin that has chosen magic as their boon in terms of skill cap, making her the perfect mother for a souped up magical morgan, outside of that, just like lissa, her only "practical" use outside of being a statstick with galeforce is being a rally bot with access to 5 rally skills and not much else, practical being in quotes because leveling through 4 classes for all the remaining rally skills is a pain in the ass

Fun fact, this map is based upon Gaiden/SoV leather shield merc chapter in zofia Also it is kind of ironic that Gangrel, the one who "rescue" emmeryn is the one who caused her to be in this current state

Your dual strike rates are so high because dual strike rates are based on the combined skill of both lead and support unit as well as support rank. Thus, two units with high skill and no support will still have high dual strike rates.

One thing that sours me on this one in particular (I mean, they all sour the already rotten narrative of awakening but you know what I mean) is how emm seemingly remembers her family, even going so far as to have a heart to heart in the conversation dlcs only to just leave them and live her life alone as an ordinary woman in her ending. Like I get what they were going for on both ends but they didn't commit to either and so they don't really satisfy either potential curiosity of the character. Also I know the priam drama nowadays is just that everyone thinks Ike is gay but was that the same drama back then or what? Because I really liked priam in concept personally before fire emblem went mega nuts with crossover games (arguably awakening went too far on its own with the dlc but priam in particular actually seemed somewhat thought out)
