I wholeheartedly concur. At 60 years old and newly retired, my external retirement funds total around One million two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.. With no debt and minimal retirement fund allocation relative to my portfolio's value over the last three years, I recognize the importance of a financial advisor. Neglecting them isn't an option; however, thorough research is vital to find a trustworthy fiduciary advisor.

We need both. My issue with CO and ppl like that.. Is that they focus too much on every small thing that a few leftist do,which brings more attention to fringe type stuff. And also it just becomes the battle of right vs left.. Which ik the left is a scary,big threat. But the biggest threat is this idiotic tribal division. Even the best politicians don't really care about us. To have such allegiance to either side based on nothing, where they're always correct and the other side always wrong...that's the whole problem What we need is independent thinking thats reasonable, rational,logical , compassionate ,and understanding. She has been attacked for 8 years now, and Sage is still 'reserved.' I love Candace's fire, but we need to stop assuming every conservative woman (especially black, considering how our race hunts those who don't follow groupthink) has to be like that. Sage said she respects Candace but isn't a fan of that approach for her own personal life. That should be fine. The conservative movement is big enough for different personalities and different paths so long as we are fighting toward the same goal.

She's not. If you ever studied "Elements of Argument" in college you would know that she uses plausible connotations with logical fallacies. She's a fast-talker, not necessarily articulate let alone a thoughtful speaker. Her "Palestinian lives matter" fell flat with the Jews, even though a minority in USA but a very capable one that hates the truth wrt Mid East crisis. She got burnt & fired. If she completed college and read widely, she would have had a better understanding of World affairs and been more shrewd in her perspectives.

These are personality types. Sage is soft and kind. Candace is straight to the point, no fluff. Our movement needs both. Being nice gets you NOWHERE in today’s culture when you are in the thick of it like Candace is. Sage is just barely TIPPING her toe in the water to feel it out. If she jumped in head first she may get a little thicker skin. Also, she’s a different generation. She reminds me of my stepmother whom I absolutely adore. Us millennials are just built different and that’s perfectly fine. I would love to see them get together- Candace seems to love soft gentle souls in her personal life. I think they would get along just fine if they gave each other the credit they each deserve for what they are both doing. If Candace isn’t a journalist, then I don’t want one! And I’d love to have the comfort of sage. It’s like going to your grandma for love when your wounded and then going to your aunt when your ready to get back in the game and fight another day. You need both. But to say we should just cry in granny’s arms forever instead of getting back up is the problem with our society today and why Candace is so important and exactly what we need in this moment. We need Sage too- a lot of people today are wounded and tired of screaming- she could be a great woman with kinder words to get those people over to us. Then once they have healed they jump in the ring with Candace. I want them both.

It's great that you see the value in having different personality types and approaches within a movement. Diversity of perspectives and approaches can indeed strengthen a cause by appealing to a wider range of people and addressing different needs. Both Sage and Candace, with their distinct styles, can play important roles in reaching and connecting with different audiences. It's about recognizing and appreciating the strengths of each approach and how they can complement each other in advancing shared goals.

First Class Desmond T. Doss, United States Army, Medical Detachment, 307th Infantry, 77th Infantry Division. Near Urasoe-Mura, Okinawa, Ryukyu Islands, 29 April - 21 May 1945. He was a company aid man when the 1st Battalion assaulted a jagged escarpment 400 feet high. As our troops gained the summit, a heavy concentration of artillery, mortar and machinegun fire crashed into them, inflicting approximately 75 casualties and driving the others back. Private First Class Doss refused to seek cover and remained in the fire-swept area with the many stricken, carrying them one by one to the edge of the escarpment and there lowering them on a rope-supported litter down the face of a cliff to friendly hands. On 2 May, he exposed himself to heavy rifle and mortar fire in rescuing a wounded man 200 yards forward of the lines on the same escarpment; and two days later he treated four men who had been cut down while assaulting a strongly defended cave, advancing through a shower of grenades to within eight yards of enemy forces in a cave's mouth, where he dressed his comrades' wounds before making four separate trips under fire to evacuate them to safety. On 5 May, he unhesitatingly braved enemy shelling and small arms fire to assist an artillery officer. He applied bandages, moved his patient to a spot that offered protection from small-arms fire and, while artillery and mortar shells fell close by, painstakingly administered plasma. Later that day, when an American was severely wounded by fire from a cave, Private First Class Doss crawled to him where he had fallen 25 feet from the enemy position, rendered aid, and carried him 100 yards to safety while continually exposed to enemy fire. On 21 May, in a night attack on high ground near Shuri, he remained in exposed territory while the rest of his company took cover, fearlessly risking the chance that he would be mistaken for an infiltrating Japanese and giving aid to the injured until he was himself seriously wounded in the legs by the explosion of a grenade. Rather than call another aid man from cover, he cared for his own injuries and waited five hours before litter bearers reached him and started carrying him to cover. The trio was caught in an enemy tank attack and Private First Class Doss, seeing a more critically wounded man nearby, crawled off the litter and directed the bearers to give their first attention to the other man. Awaiting the litter bearers' return, he was again struck, this time suffering a compound fracture of one arm. With magnificent fortitude he bound a rifle stock to his shattered arm as a splint and then crawled 300 yards over rough terrain to the aid station. Through his outstanding bravery and unflinching determination in the face of desperately dangerous conditions Private First Class Doss saved the lives of many soldiers. His name became a symbol throughout the 77th Infantry Division for outstanding gallantry far above and beyond the call of duty. This man saved 75 soldiers single handedly, and refused to use a weapon because of his faith... You want to talk brave, you can't get much braver than that, 1 medal of honor - two bronze stars & 3 purple hearts! Just an incredible human being.

That's a thoughtful distinction. Kindness does often involve qualities like strength, honesty, and generosity, and it can sometimes require difficult or uncomfortable actions. As a Christian she should know everything the Bible says about Israel & how God told the church to view them, support them and His warning against those who divide the land or curses them. Whether others agree with that, Christians are accountable for how they respond to that. It is also breaking the 3rd commandment using her " Christ is King" remark as she has. She should have known better- & I think she actually did. Which says this was about her career- not her principles.

It has nothing to do with being conservative. Most black people are socially conservative. It comes with growing up religious. The issue is that Candace's understanding of the black community is pretty much what a person can gleam from watching a few hours of BET. Every thing she complains about regarding the black community is so surface level nonsense that black people immediately picked up on her grift and her BS. Black conservatives are everywhere. I am a black man, I am not conservative, but my parents and the parents of most black people I know are conservative. Many of my own personal positions on xyz topics are conservative. BUT WE ALSO KNOW A POSER WHEN WE SEE ONE. Candace going on the Breakfast Club and not knowing the response to "God is good." It was a gotcha question to prove a point. Not only has she not spent any real time in a black church, she hasn't spent any real time in any evangelical or baptist church, while putting out content saying that black people have lost their way and morals. God is good, all the time, and all the time, God is good. In another conversation on another podcast she spoke about how back in the 90s black music was wholesome, referencing Lauren Hill and decrying Cardi B. If Candace actually grew up in the black community that she "speaks for," she would know that Lil Kim significantly more popular in the black community and 10 x more explicit in her songs. She's clearly never listened to A Tribe Called Quest, or even the lyrics of many Run DMC songs. But that's the issue. The black community disavows Candace because we can look at hear her for 5 minutes and immediately know she's a poser. Imagine for a moment that some liberal claimed to be a big gun fan and they started a podcast series not from within the gun community but within the anti-gun community and claimed that they spoke for gun people. 2A folks would know immediately to not trust that person.
@kmallen88
@kmallen88 26 күн бұрын
I’m not black so I can’t speak with authority here but is it possible multiple things can be true at once? Candace has admitted that she used to be a young liberal AND she grew up in a more conservative values home being raised by her grandparents (hence why she probably relates to Hill more than Lil Kim). It wasn’t until Trump (and then Thomas Sowell) that she “woke up” to the political bullshit from the left. I’m not talking about liberal or conservative values at home but the hoodwinking of the black community by LBJ. I don’t think she became nearly as religious until marrying her husband who is a devout Catholic. Even when she was on Rogan, not that many years ago, she made it clear that she wasn’t religious. So it makes sense that she wouldn’t be familiar with black church culture. So it’s possible she was raised with conservative values and influence(Hill), was a young person with a liberal heart, returned to conservative political thought because of Trump/Sowell and then is now religious from her marriage, hence not knowing “God is good”. As a white person, who grew up evangelical, I thought the answer was “God is good, God is great.” BUT I have heard the other version, too, I just wouldn’t have recalled it “properly” on the spot.
