At least you’re trying instead of automatically resorting to combing them out because sometimes it really can just be a temporary feeling. I’ve learned it’s best to give myself some time before doing something drastic to my set as well (2 years in). Your locs look great though! 😍 I loved them even in the clips when you were at the beauty supply store. You got this!

this is coming from someone who's had their locs for twelve years , do NOT comb them out sis . learn how to retwist them yourself so you'll never have to get that " hey boo " txt again . in my 12 years , I've been the only one to touch my hair and it's one of the reasons I'm most proud of them . Long , healthy and full of good vibes . Good luck on your journey sister girl . it's well worth it if you stick with them .

Understandable. I combed mine out after 10 moths. I felt the same and don’t want to go back. Do what is best for you. I like the versatility of being able to slap my hair into a pony or getting it done. Overall, I think because I’m not a loc Tician and don’t know how to do the styles that’s why I gave up. I don’t like having ti deos depend on someone else to do my hair.
