Yeah, she’s the real deal. She has respect for “normal” people in a way that many celebrities don’t. She used to come to my area a lot when she dated someone who lived here and I never heard a bad word about her from folks who met her.

The first movie was something that was so deeply dark but also so insightful and powerful. I am hoping the second one will live up because I cannot express how impactful the first one was. Psychosis is not an easy thing to grapple with and Joaquin did something that was groundbreaking

Im bracing for this movie to not be anywhere near the masterpiece of the first movie but I’m hopeful there will at least be some substance that leaves you thinking about the world like the first movie did. I was seriously obsessed with the world alone in 2019s Joker. Gotham itself and the realistic tone they went for was a character all in its own.

@alex_t503 the director admitted they used the Joker name simply because the IP helped get the movie financed. If they could get away with calling it Clown they would have. Calling her Lee instead of Harley doesn't fundamentally change the character so what's the point other than Harley Quinn aka Harlequin is "too comic booky" sounding and doesn't fit the pretentious "totally not a comic book movie we swear" vibe they're clearly going for.
