If catching a 30” is your goal I would recommend hawk lake lodge in Ontario or Budd’s gunisao in Manitoba. These places consistently produce 30” walleyes every year

95% of walleye fishermen will never catch a dirty thirty primary because they don’t fish water that produces fish over 28”. I have been blessed to catch 2 over 30”. One at LOTW and one at Lake Erie
