I get the same judgment from my own family and it seems only my father and husband appreciate me raising our children somtomes. And I have 4 children who teacher's always compliment me on for their behavior and participation. My oldest son has an academic scholarship at Ohio State, has a 1st degree black, did cross country, was on the debate team and is a wonderful son who I made sure stayed out of trouble. I vet all my children's friends and their parents, and my children eat homecooked meals, do chores, have their own mini businesses selling baked goods, face mask, and smoothies and my oldest son found his own job and plans to work while in college. My daughter sews, has a 1st degree black belt, is teaching herself Japanese, and plays the flute and piano. And my 2 youngest boys stay on honor roll and have blue belts in martial arts. And I ask those who think low of stay at home moms this, what kind of people do you want your children marrying snd being friends with in the future. What kind of people make the best citizens in society? Its people raised to be respectful, responsible, intelligent, well rounded, and thats what it has been my goal to raise. I stay busy and most mothers don't or can't do what I've been blessed to do, actually raise and cultivate my children, not some neglecting relative, daycare, television, or social media, me I raise them.Parenting is one of the most powerful jobs you can have, especially if you're trying to do it right.

This is the foolishness of children you're describing. I run into it in a different form with younger, naive, "woke" people (who have often confused their recent decision to finally pay attention to certain things with actually having a fucking clue about them). They refuse to engage the world on its own terms and deal with the reality they're actually in. Instead they demand that the world be what they sanctimoniously and self-righteously think it ought to be, as if their inexperienced conception of things deserved primacy over someone else's. It's entitled and laughable, like a child with clenched fists stomping their feet and crossing their arms.

Completely agree. KS is wrong that body count doesn’t matter, but right that it’s impossible to prove. I would say that if a woman is known to be promiscuous, she is certainly NOT relationship or wife material. Women handle sex differently than men and the higher the body the count, the more emotionally screwed up she is going to be. Don’t forget about STDs as well.

My pblm with this discussion is our perspective as modern Black ADOS men (American Descendants of Slaves). Our mentality is far too matriarchal due to our unique history and rearing. No high value men of any other ethnicity would "waste" any time with women who were not true "assets" to them. I understand that the Male value-sphere and rites-of-passage was largely broken in our ethnic group... but brothers, understand this, any woman who brings you fatherless children, a harsh attitude, a degraded body, a sharp and graceless tongue, a crooked smile (or non at all), and a lack of service, is incapable of respecting, valuing, and therefore loving you. She may have valid reasons for it, but remember you are looking for a mate or wife - not a critical care patient...

I think the comments about "body count" apply to the younger women vs the older women. You can't really fault a person for the number of sexual partners they had before you, but we all can warn a 22 yr old young lady about how she'll be perceived by the men that she MAY end up with. The one thing i have learned by listening to my husband's male friends and family is that men absolutely do not want to be embarrassed by the women that they bring around each other. The double standard sucks, but it is what it is...
@darylc27993 жыл бұрын
It's not actually a double standard, because the standards held between men and woman are different...the expectations are different, the roles are different the responsibilities are different. Body count applies to all women. I have never met a man that would find marrying an escort acceptable...because of body count.

This was very interesting commentary. I just recently realized there was an issue with sistas having unrealistic expectations for a mate. I'm aware of women who were actually engaged but ultimately terminated the relationship because they felt there was a better option.. Or the guy just wasn't ambitious enough. I've also noticed an issue with women leading with their accomplishments. They will proudly tell you about their degrees and career, but they are clueless about remaining feminine and what it takes to add value to a man in a relationship.
