The learn as you go mentality was how my old place was. I ended up being a manager and would work from 20ish of their locations because I knew how to work the system. I was fixing computers, pumps, card readers, and more without IT. Even light plumbing and hvac maintenance. Why? It would take weeks for them to get there. I ended up being the guy they called when they needed someone to fix a store, find theft, or train others. Never once got paid for the extra hassle. 80+ hours one week, I had 92 hours before overtime was calculated.

People tend to forget that relationships go both ways. If the guy can't find time because of work, the girl can visit him at work or at home. Sometimes we think we can't find time because of where our mind is at that moment, having the person we love pull us out changes things a lot. However in this case, the females were only thinking of themselves and not even trying to meet their partner in the middle.
