You should have given them to the house owner because they were theirs and technically that is stealing. I hate when ppl steal from ppl. Those are not tips they may be forgotten about but if you told the house owner im sure they would give them to you. But the $50 I hide cash sometimes around the house and I did hide some in my bed once ($150) I would hate to go looking for it when I needed it to find it missing would be terrible.

My biggest hit dumpster diving was 2500$ realised. I found about 200 TurboTax 2019s. Some where home and business and business which where 50-80 a pc at the time. Some where worth 10$. But in the end it was 2500. I got alot of free office chairs as well worth 300$ if they wernent cut before throwing out (display models) could never sell for that and never tried to sell one anyways but I figure 300$ floor model probably bring 100$ not much resale on office chairs
