What's the most disgusting in this is not just his blatant cheating BUT the fact he thinks he's entitled to his wife's money because he married into HER wealth... in many cases for nobles there is usually a claus against this sort of stuff to PREVENT noble families losing money to greedy spouses when they marry in. Usually it's wives but I wouldn't be shocked if it worked towards husbands as well.
