Spoilers for house specific missions below: .. .. . . .. Coming from someone who by now has played ALL of the house missions I have to say that (in my opinion) the Hufflepuff and Gryffindor missions are by far the best with the Slytherin one being the worst. Hufflepuff is the ONLY way to get to see Askaban and is the one with the best story while Gryffindor's is in my opinion the most fun and let's us visit the Kitchen and join the headless hunt. Ravenclaw's lets you re-visit Olivanders while Slytherins get's us to visit a cave.

Even only 5 episodes into the play through its very clear why Avalanche chose you as one of their “ambassadors” for this game. Flying you out for early access, sending you the collector’s edition, press, etc. It’s clear you love the wizarding world and appreciate the dev’s efforts in bringing it to life for the game and your enthusiasm is infectious. Every episode I watch makes we want to jump back into the game. 10/10 play through, can’t wait to keep watching

I've been watching a couple of other playthroughs and yours is the best I've seen. Which is why it's so painful waiting for the next episode. So many folks don't pay attention and it gets so frustrating watching someone bang their head against a wall instead of thinking, "I probably need Depulso". Being competent at this game definetely helps, but the best thing about these videos is your wide-eyed wonder at all the cool things you can do. And the game does a really good job of it. Rather than giving you access to a small portion of the map first, and gradually unlocking stuff, you can explore the whole castle, and you'll only run into some closed doors, giving you a reason to go back once you get alohomora. Much better than clearing the map bit by bit, and never going back to the parts already done.

Flashback to an earlier episode when you said Hecat was going to be your favorite Professor and I was like; yeah no just wait until Herbology: literally everyone adores Mirabel Garlick! Wonderful character and probably the best voice acting in the game. The only criticism I have for the game is that a lot of the features have fairly shallow implementation; but you can't really fault the developer because they put so MANY different things in that it creates a depth all of its own, and it's that feature-cramming that makes the world, and especially the castle, feel so alive and magical. Like honestly, if they'd taken time to do a real in-depth gear and character RPG system but had to cut the humming knights, the teleport frogs, the moving paintings everywhere, self-playing instruments, honking daffodils, Charmed watering cans and pruning shears etc etc, the game might have more replayability but I genuinely think it would have been a lesser experience that you could find in a dozen other titles. And that's before you get the incredible lore nods to the books and films like the Groundskeeper's House page saying it's suitable for occupants of all sizes, the One Eyed Witch Passage that Harry used to sneak to Hogsmeade using the Marauder's Map, the lake outside Jackdaw's Tomb where your character talks about stags being regal creatures that is clearly based on the lake Harry first cast his Patronus in Prisoner of Azkban. It's just such a clear passion project for the creators of the game.

You get a lot more than XP from the merlin trials. The challenge rewards are inventory capacity increases. be sure to claim them. I've always thought the "one eyed witch" statue was a reference to the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz books. In the books, she had only one eye, "But that eye was as powerful as a telescope." Also, Gareth Weasley's Fizzing Whizbee Drink experiment sounds like a reference to "Fizzy Lifting Drinks" from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Hey, so you need to equip the gear in them empty slots to benefit from the stat bonuses, if you dont like the look of the item hover over it in main inventory screen press square then top left you can turn appearance off or you can choose a look you do like for each item of gear.

One thing I love about this game is that it gives more insight into the negatives of the wizarding world a lot more than the positives of it. The movies showed some of the dark sides of it but it wasn't fleshed out like I hoped. The books if I remember touched on those subjects I think but the movies never truly did. I love the school and stuff but seeing some of those dark hidden stuff is intriguing and what compels me to like this game way more. The place isn't as bright and dandy but enjoyable for those that have the curiosity to learn

Hey you are awesome and so is your channel! I have a quick tip that's hound help if you'd like to hear it. So you know how you may or may not like the look of a specific piece of gear? Well you should equip all your gear from each specific gear slot so that you can get the stats from it. So if you hover over the icon of each specific gear slot before clicking into it you have an option to "change appearance" to something that you've already found or turn that specific piece of gear off but you still have it quipped so you get the stats for your character!!!

The main quest regarding this book and Jackdaw are unique for each of the four houses, Ravenclaw is arguably the least developed though, as it mainly takes place in the owlery. And you can only enter the hogwarts kitchens as a gryffindor (part of this quest), and for Slytherin you have to talk to the headmaster’s house elf. You actually get an achievement for doing this mission chain with all four houses. As for the spiders, this game is the perfect game if you’re an arachnaphobe (like me), it’s so therapeutic to murder those damn things en-mass :D

concerning the portrait of Eldritch Diggory, you only meet him as a Hufflepuff, Gryffindor it's Nearly Headless Nick who takes you to the "Headless Hunt" to find the missing pages, As Slytherin, you meet the Headmaster's house-elf Frokes, who helps. I don't know what plays out in ravenclaw yet. but it always plays different depending on your House

During this time as a Ravenclaw, you get a letter from Mr. Ollivander regarding a family heirloom wand. But a bigger note, you has have all these other clothing supplies that you haven't equipped to increase your offense and defense. Just cuz it doesn't look cute doesn't mean not to neglect your stats. You can change the look by hitting square over the article.

lol yep, drives me nuts 🤪when I see that she doesn't equip any of the gear on some of the slots just because of the way it looks 😂she could have better offensive and defensive stats and just change the way each item of gear looks in the customization portion of the gear slot and she already collected a lot of stuff that the customization section would be filled with a lot of variety, she could mix and match every item to her hearts content but she doesn't seem to know that.😁Its the loot goblin in all of us I guess, this game makes it so that gear you collect while levelling up is expendable and the cosmetic part of the item is always tied to the gear slot which is a welcome change since rarity and looks dont mean anything just the stats since you can customize what you are wearing with a cosmetic appearance of an item that you mayh have already sold. 😁Brilliant of the game to do so 😁 When it comes to gear in this game just remember...don't collect, wear the best, and sell the rest! 😜

I do love that we have some of the same wizarding families that we know of in the game cause it makes the world seem more real. Also it makes sense especially for the 'pureblood' families cause most of them brag about always being magical and since the Wizarding World is quite small compared to the rest of the world because there seems to be only one wizarding school for each country you would sometimes run into people who are part of the same families.

Oh good! The Azkaban quest wasn't too far into the game. I was hoping to see it early on in your playthrough. Seems us Gryffindor aren't brave enough to be allowed there. I knew I was doing right by binging your playlist to get to this point. 😃 Now we just need to see the exclusive PS5 quest.

As a gryffindor, we get sent on Jackdaw’s Quest through Nearly Headless Nick asking us to help him get into the Headless Hunt and they make you run around blowing up pumpkins to find the hidden ghost head before you can speak to Jackdaw hahaha
