i definitely recommend getting dash cams for everyone’s vehicles if possible!! i’ve noticed you guys have gotten into a few accidents, which is bound to happen with such a large family and so many drivers in the bunch. it’s always good to have that extra proof that you weren’t at fault incase you get into an accident with someone who tries to blame you. hope all is well with everyone!!

Aww Brody in the backseat hugging Scarlett! He's such a sweet kid and I love how much he seems to care about the little girls! I know he's still little but I can already tell, Aurora and Scarlett are gonna have an AMAZING brother/uncle in Brody to talk to whenever they need help or advice with anything in the future! I’m so glad Scarlett was safe in her car seat in that big truck, and she didn’t even feel it. I understand Melinda’s worries about what if Scarlett got hurt. That made me tear up because any time I avoid an accident I go into panic mode and think about the what ifs. My son is my everything and it sucks we can only protect them so much. ❤️

I’m so sorry about Melinda’s accident. I know everybody is trying to make her feel better by saying, “Why do you feel guilty it’s not your fault?” And I 100% agree with that statement and love your family and friends that are there to remind her. However, I can understand the guilty feeling as well. We always hope that your loved one has a fantastic birthday (or any day) because we want to celebrate the day they came into the world. Melinda, just know that “guilt” feeling is just a feeling. It is not true. It just shows how much you genuinely care and love your family. And that much love and care you have is so amazing. I hope you remember that when that “guilt” feeling comes (or came) around. Your family and friends are so so blessed to have you in their lives.

Bella is an amazing big sister. I'd actually love to know if it has been a hard adjustment for Bella not 'parenting' Liam and ryland. I know with foster care when siblings are together the oldest is protective of the younger ones. So my question ultimately is has it been a hard adjustment for Bella to kinda let Aaron and Crystal be mom and dad while Bella is able to adjust and be a teenager??

If you recall on Mother's Day, Bella had a hand written card telling Crystal that she never thought she would have a mom. She probably felt the same way about her brothers wanting a mom just as much. She is doing a lot with Ariana, and now has the freedom to be a teen, without that caretaker responsibility and concern for her brothers. She will always be the big sister who loves and cares for her brother's happiness, but I have to assume she is very grateful all three of them now have loving, caring, parents, a bunch of fun and supportive siblings, a beautiful home, and a positive outlook for all of their futures. .

I empathize with your feelings about Liam's bday. It reminds me of something my grandpa, who passed 3 weeks ago at 91, always said to me. You can always plan the event however, God plans the outcome. So glad Melinda and Scarlett are ok. She probably has some whiplash and will be sore. Ice is best, 20 minutes on 20 minutes off. (Can alternate with heat.) Also the meds they gave he to take down inflammation will help. That and time. God bless her. I am praying for you, Melinda. 🙏💜🙏 Happy 19th birthday, Liam!
