She Used To Be Mine is my favorite song from Sydnie. Sara Bareilles was just out performed by Sydnie Christmas. Her version of Believer tells me she should be the one singing the next theme song for James Bond movie. Anyone 50 and older knows what a gem Sydnie is. All the musicals of the 40s 50s and 60s can be remade with Sydnie as the lead.👍❤️

I believe she did express her ambition to perform in the West End in her intro interview for BGT…her voice certainly deserves that and more…global recognition. I am almost NEVER drawn to female voices, and when I do it's usually due to the song itself before it's about the voice. That doesn't mean I don't appreciate female voices, they just very rarely capture me emotionally, in my heart and soul. But Sydnie, I can't listen to her without getting tears in my eyes, and most of the time they overflow, silently, gently most of the time, and sometimes ugly. I very much watching this reaction with the absolutely incredible mix of your gorgeous, warm and handsome smile and the ugly face, and there were a lot of both. When you pulled the first ugly face, very early in My Way, I smiled and I thought to myself that it was the first of many in this video, and in your life listening to Sydnie. I hope she gets to fulfill her dream of becoming a West End star. I know that I will go see her at the first opportunity I get. Hopefully that will be in a West End Musical within a day or so of a Home Free concert or 10 :P I bet I'll see you at one of those occassions :D

Oh, and my favourite off of this album is She Used to Be Mine. I've listened to it on repeat probably a hundred times at least, I do that when a song really hits me, mostly with Home Free songs, and I STILL cry and get goosebumps all over my body. I can't wait for your reaction to the rest of the album. You will not, obviously, get dissapointed, including Oh Holy Night. It is, btw, the very first time I have EVER liked it sung by a female voice and it might be my favourite rendition together with Home Free's and Jussi Björling's versions.

The three BGT songs are part of the album, but yes, these are studio versions. Obviously no one can tell without pitch monitoring software whether or not something was done to a song, but there are few obvious signs of even reverb and compression, which are mundane in today's music. Yes a touch here and there...but it sounds pretty old fashioned to me. Also, though she is soon to be a star, in the past she has done a lot of theater, and you can't fake it there.

I'm thinking her on Broadway would be too limited for her! These song arrangements are hers! I want her to tour worldwide! We want to hear more of her God given talent. In live concert performances! I sure hope she tours the USA and Canada soon!

Her live performance of Tomorrow was more powerful to me. It was much more raw and expressive. Doesn't mean I don't like her album version. She said in her interview she recorded this, her first album, in 3 weeks! That seems unbelievable and amazing to me! Especially since it wasn't just her singing, it was with a full orchestra in Prague. She so very amazing. I like your review 😊
