Faith and wisdom and the divine is all as we are all gifted . Never judge or condemn that of which you know of instead of passing judgement be compassionate open minded and open your mind for there are forces that remain unseen but have been watching and guiding us in many aspects of our lives. That which seeks purpose should have a pure heart and authentic by showing love and compassion for other’s and then they’ll have a greater understanding of the power we all possess from within. This was an absolute beautiful story a very heart felt one for me and I appreciate you and thank you for sharing it was an absolute pleasure.❤❤

Great story but questionable when no one bothers to ask, “Who is the father?” Why did he not make himself known? No King allows his son, that will rule, to marry questionable parentage. That needs to be addressed here. Otherwise, lovely story.

@AfricanStoriesRetold
@AfricanStoriesRetold 24 күн бұрын
She is in no way related to the king. She's a common villager who got pregnant for the river deity. The child from the said pregnancy had healing abilities that could cure the crown prince The villagers hated her because they thought she was responsible for the famine they were experiencing and the king didn't do much to protect her mother.

Why Should the high class gain the prowess and power of those who are gifted and who have had to prove their worth? That makes their ( River Gods Family) Gift a thing that only the HIGH Class Should Own. And Only Royal Born. The marriage is a face slap to know your place. Not Kool! Women have more World Wide Worth than a Bride!

I understand your point but she also used her gifts to heal some of the villagers and their animals. Even flowers blossomed wherever she went..so the Royal Family did not benefit alone.
