Ok, you’ve sold me. I’ve failed at garlic for 4 seasons now. Honestly it’s cheaper to just buy at my local farmers market. BUT… I really want to grow my own garlic. @@pilsplease7561 I buy organic garlic from my farmers market for $2.00 each. The garlic is about the size of my palm. It’s absolutely cheaper than buying seed garlic and growing it.

I just harvested 150 in cottage country ontario. A very nice crop , we enjoyed the scapes too. They 're hanging up waiting for the rest of the veggies to be ready. Next year I'll try the leave a couple of scapes trick, to help the harvest date. Love your videos.

Do i need to refrigerate the garlic first and for how long

This is only needed if you're in a growing zone that does not get temperatures below the frost level. The refrigerator is simulating that cold weather. You would want to leave your garlic in the fridge for 1 month and then plant it exactly as I've shown in some of my garlic planting videos :)
