THE GREATEST MOUNTAIN BIKE DRIFT MODIFICATION!

The greatest mountain bike drift modification! I custom fit trolley wheels to my bike to make the ultimate drift mod, with the back wheel thrown away and the new wheels fitted I create the best MTB drift machine ever! Would you ride this?
I try to create the ultimate drift modification using my dirt jump MTB and some trolley wheels from a Lidl store. I start things off by removing the back wheel off my mountain bike and cutting out the hub so I can find a way to connect the new trolley wheels to the back of my bike. After finding out it works I start slowly at a local car park where I work out the best way to control this crazy bike but with four wheels at the back that can spin in any direction it really was quite difficult to control, but after a few rides I was able to do some tricks like barspins and 180's. The bike is super fun and makes for some very interesting maneuvers because of the way it can spin around compared to a normal bike. Once I masted the bike I hit some jumps and even learned how to manual it before moving on to a new location, the skatepark! In the skatepark the bike worked way better than I ever imagined and I was able to do big drifts and some airs. This is definitely the weirdest customisation I've ever made to a bike, but it was so so much fun and very worth it!

Sam, if those casters were to have a ton of angle it would make it controllable(angled backwards). It’s how a rip stick works and would be epic!

Well they are already all angled, that's what a caster wheel is. But on a RipStik there's two casters and they're held straight by some sort of spring, so for this you would need for springs pulling the casters backwards and since they're already angled, it will help with straight line stability. He'dprobably need to try with a bunch of different strengths of tension springs.

Very cool. I bet it was pulling to one side, because you were losing the bearings. Put some better wheel in there and if you had a hand brake on the rear two wheels slightly engaging them would straighten things out. No brakes= crazy snowboard like bike.
