Has grown into those paws pretty well, now maybe he will fill out some. He will be a BIG dog.! Mojo is so wise. Wonderful job he did protecting the baby and showing Rachel where mama was. Good job on roundup, Kevin! Glad your dad was able to lend a hand. Enjoy the vids so much. ❤️&🙏🏻🙏🏻. 🇺🇸MesquiteTX

When I first started watching you with the goats, I didn’t understand. I now understand farmers and why they do their job the way they do. You both are good farmers ,you keep your animals clean and watch their health. Rachel has fell in love with this little baby. She will want to take it in the house. Lol it’s the cutest one you have had for a while. I thought you had around 70 goats ,but it looks like you had more than that. You kept telling us big changes were coming, but I know you are a smart farmer and things will be fine. I think you have another big change to tell us ,I am praying about that one. God bless and May the Lord be with you and your changes.

This summer we sold our herd of 14 miniature cattle all at once. It was sad to see them go. Just reminded myself that it was time when one put me over the fence at 70. They went to a young family and the one that chased me down probably went in the freezer to feed the kids. We decided to keep our sweet Charolais cow and her bull calf. He's just like her, a big baby that will stretch out for ear scratches and neck or belly rubs.

I'm sure you already know this but I ran across this and thought you might like it. You can’t ask for a much more loyal companion than one that’s willing to protect you, and that’s what the Anatolian Shepherd was born for. These natural guard dogs are massive, growing up to 150 pounds, making them the kind of friend you’d love to have on your side. Anatolian Shepherds are not known as particularly cuddly dogs but they absolutely adore their families, while giving strangers the cold shoulder.

Sold a bunch, gained a few, but still the total heard is down in numbers for the winter. And Leeski gets some new experiences, with older goats. Should be good training for him. Not that I'm any kind of dog training expert. Hell, I barely got my last dog trained to sit and stay. He did know the "Hold", "Ignore", and "watch/wait" commands, though. Learned those while he was still with his mom. His favorite was "Go". That was his release command, allowing him to do whatever he needed to do. Be it just go for a high speed run around the property, or attacking a coyote. (He was half Blue Heeler, half Akita, and weighed in around 125-150 lbs, coyotes were no match) He may have made a good LGD. He was good with the horses (Even herded them around, now and again). Only had problems with one other animal. The cat. He had no problems with her. SHE had problems with HIM. 12 pound cat, terrorized the 125 pound dog.

Hope the sale was prosperous and good luck with the meetup in March… okie-dokie!
