This just happened to me. I was withy ex-fiancee for 6 years and did everything i could for him. When he struggled I stuck by his side. When his mom was dying of leukemia he called me to drive him to the hospital in Florida in which I did. Helped his grandma when she needed things plus doing extra for him. Now since he has 2 Master degrees, he started changing. I suffer with depression and body dysmorphia and he dumped because he couldnt handle my problems 😢

So sorry to hear this but I’m glad social media is around to share these stories. A lot of women endlessly pour into people because they are empathetic and don’t like seeing people suffering, only to find out later that those same people will not reciprocate and do the same for you when you are in need. Your problems are your own and then they will look down on you. It’s such a painful lesson to learn. Sadly my mom and most of my siblings are like this. All I can say look for the early signs with the small things and if you help people who do not help you when you need it, don’t spend your physical and emotional energy on them. Just use your sympathetic words like ‘oh I’m sorry it’s happening to you’ etc. and keep it moving.
