Titania was wearing a lot of green this episode, that could be because of her trademark, but it could also hint at the man who gave her powers in the comics, Dr. Doom. I would laugh out loud if after, all the wondering of how he is going to be introduced in the MCU, and they decide to do it in this fun comedy show.

Yeah it’s very much in line with the tone/style of several She Hulk runs in comics, for better or worse, sometimes they were good & other times not so much. It’s more about the fun than telling a compelling story for the most part

Yeah. The later She-Hulk runs were more serious, like when she was bounty hunting with the Super Skrull’s daughter, or joined together with a bunch of the other women to overthrow a brutal dictator without anyone else’s approval. I enjoyed both, honestly.

to argue for wong setting legal precedent, if he didn't, there could be all sorts of issues of possibly starting a fight. donny probably might not be above any claims to say that the sling ring is legally his. wong didn't even have his students sign NDAs, so taking donny to court would help kamar taj find some legal footing. maybe my words don't get it across right since i'm tired, but another way to put it is that donny probably wasn't initially worth that kind of time of just yoinking the ring back. getting back sling rings can be simple enough, but dropout sorcerers using magic irresponsibly is a bigger issue that can't be solved by just taking the rings. making it known that there's more tangible consequences to irresponsible sorcery (aside from injury and death, but neither has hindered idiocy) is definitely a way of making sure sorcery is practiced safely by even more practicioners. after wong went through the motions to go through things legally, taking back the sling ring and then sending donny to the mirror dimension (to clearly mess with him and rattle him in a supervised manner) was seemingly easy enough. with the guy active as sorcerer supreme, every decision has to be more effective. should he have any more failed students, that would be more time chasing them than dealing with the bigger problems as sorcerer supreme (and it would be less time to watch his shows). so it's probably better to cast a wider net to ban failed students from using magic, in order to protect the sorcerers from having any means of having their operations being shut down entirely.

EPISODE 4: Hey, Monica! I didn't care for this episode but I LOVE MADISYNN! Lol. Fourth wall breaks are the best! The dad bringing the shovel on the off-chance she needs to bury bodies was fantastic! Donny Blaze producing a "bird" in the form of a middle finger! Wong vowing vengeance on Blaze for screwing with his "Sopranos" binge! Madisynn needs to be a permanent fixture in the MCU! I love her as Wongers' squeeze! I hope Madisynn's contract with the demon goat wasn't a pact made with MEPHISTO that comes back to haunt her! By the way, the law firm's name, GLK&H, stands for Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg and Holliway. Holliway is the senior partner played by Stephen Coulter on the show but Goodman refers to Martin Goodman, the publisher of Marvel Comics in the '60s, Lieber is Stan Lee's real last name and Kurtzberg is Jack Kirby's real last name! What the show is getting wrong is that Jen finds her Shulkie alter-ego to be immensely liberating rather than a burden in the comics! She revels in her sexuality and popularity as She-Hulk! She's a glamazon and owns it! She bags beefcake, heart-throbs, muscle-men and even demi-gods who all melt in her presence! As Jen Walters she was an inhibited, mousy, buttoned-up wallflower. However, that doesn't fit current cultural sensibilities about feminism which seeks to desexualize women. If they wanted her rejection by the hot doc to carry weight, then they need to build upon Pug's attraction to her as Jen Walters. In the comics, he carries a torch for Jen but Shulkie friend-zones him. The scene of the guy she found attractive rejecting her true nature would be more meaningful if we knew there actually was a guy who preferred her that way which she was oblivious to. This show is lighter than air and drags at just thirty minutes. I need a deeper plot or more realistic characters or a sexier She-Hulk because this is just tepid and silly.

I'm just catching up to the fact it's not a writing mistake but that Jennifer is supposed to still be awkward and kinds shy in her SH form (even though she had sex in it), and that she'll eventually become the Savage She-Hulk we know from the comics once her character and persona properly grew into her physical stature.

People are so weirdly convinced there's no aim in this phase when phase 1 was connected because you'd see Thanos sitting in a chair. There's clearly build up to a West Coast Avengers or at least a West Coast movie team up, almost all of the Young Avengers have been introduced and there's been so much prep for the multiverse it's almost a joke. But yeah, there's no direction unlike those super unified early Marvel movies.

EPISODE 5: Hey, Monica! So all those sham Titania products are probably meant to satirize Gwyneth Paltrow's GOOP cosmetics. I wonder how Gwyneth is taking the roast being that she's 'Pepper' Potts? As he is the unrequited lover of Jennifer Walters in the comic, I had hope for Augustus "Pug" Pugliese to develop into a romantic foil perpetually overlooked by She-Hulk yet right under her nose but the show just made him into a vapid, shallow sneakerhead! Pretty much everyone who works at that law firm is vapid and shallow. I don't understand the flak the hot doc is getting. Jen catfished him with a She-Hulk pic and he's being honest about what he likes. She practically drooled over his buff bod so she could keep him as a booty call contact. I think he'd be down for that since he thinks She-Hulk is amazing. Why can't they have fun together? Mallory Book ("Hamilton"s Renee Elise Goldsberry) becomes an antagonist in the comic after one too many misadventures with Shulkie. Isn't this the world of the SOKOVIA ACCORDS and THE BLIP? How do so many have casual powers that everyone else accepts nonchalantly? Why didn't Mordo track down Donny Blaze and kill him like he did to Pangborn? Too many sorcerers, right? How is there even a market for superhero garments? There aren't that many known capes in the MCU! We saw all the trouble Daredevil went through to get his threads on Netflix. Yeah, I know Netflix Marvel doesn't count but it should. It's superior to this stuff. Does this flamboyant fashionista also provide gear for villains? Edna Mole, based on the legendary film costumer Edith Head, worked in "The Incredibles" because that was a send-up of superheroes! It doesn't work in the MCU unless Feige wants us to dismiss Jennifer Walters as a "real" character. Luke Jacobson, the designer, is an authentic DEEP-DIVE into "Dakota North" comics. She was a Private Investigator with a haute couture fashion sense and Jacobson was a designer obsessed with outfitting her. He looked like Fabio in the comics. Lol. I'm certain that the special garment Jacobson crafted for Jen is her traditional superhero sportswear which is a purple and white unitard with short sleeves and cut-offs. Mary MacPherran aka Titania is not a super-influencer. She's a skinny little runt from the wrong side of the tracks in Denver who gets picked on by mean, popular girls. When a section of Denver gets ripped from Earth to be a part of Battleworld in Secret Wars, Doctor Doom makes an offer to its citizens to join his forces in exchange for great power. Mary takes the deal and is transformed into a spiked, leather-clad muscle woman dubbed Titania by Doom. She targets She-Hulk because she's the strongest lady around and nearly kills her in Hulk form with the Wrecking Crew and Doc Ock. When Spider-Man defeats her, she has a wake-up call. Spidey tells her she's a classic bully in that she was abused, became powerful and abused that power by tormenting the weak. The epiphany leaves her shattered. Carl Creel, the Absorbing Man, falls for her and restores her self-esteem. The two villains become DEEPLY DEVOTED to each other and are one of Marvel's great romantic pairings to this day. I greatly prefer the above story to the nonsense I'm watching. The biggest problem remains that they are presenting She-Hulk as the ANTITHESIS of her comic self! In the comics, Jen is inhibited and insecure whereas She-Hulk is a confident, sensual extrovert who loves and lives passionately. The show has FLIPPED IT! Jen is the confident, feisty one and Shulkie is the inhibited, insecure one! That is a BETRAYAL of the character. Maybe Matt Murdock will save this show. I hope they bring in Tim Blake Nelson's Samuel Sterns from "The Incredible Hulk" to make this dreck worth the slog.
