It covers the bishop which is attacked by knight and bishop, if they take first then you can exchange and end up with queen in that position. White plays Bxh6. If black takes back Bxh6 the bishop on f5 is hanging. If black plays Bxd3 first, then white first plays Bxg7, attacking black's rook. So both black's rook and bishop are hanging, and black loses material in the end. Hope that makes sense :)
