I watched movie it was amazing mind blasting acting by Alia Bhatt it's 2nd week still night show at 9pm was housefull in my small town in Karnataka.... But its also hard to not let privilege get to one's head. The right background, genetic and social can really keep you in a bubble. But she found her way to the ground and her work and personality is an inspiration for many. She kind of rose from the ashes after that karan johar interview. One can not really imagine what it must be to experience such hate and ridicule on social media. yet to regain the balance and keep a straight head is definitely a sign of strength. If you look at the present generation, she is one of the many who inspire, not just with her hard work and dedication, but also with her talent. now, the question of "how" much strength is pretty relative and yes, there have been many different people who have struggled much more and shown much higher levels of courage, but, nevertheless, her passion and strength inspires me.

@@nikytadhiman259 I don’t watch Bollywood movies anymore as most of them are made with an eye on the box office, lot of cringe unrealistic stuff and overall underwhelming. The music has also deteriorated with hardly any good lyrics. I generally find nothing inspiring in any of these ‘stars’ except for the humanitarian work which some of them support. They get too much space and attention in the media. If you like their movies, just watch and judge them for their work. Their interviews, promotions, children and personal lives should be irrelevant. We should highlight real common people who have struggled and achieved in life.

Its good that Kasmiri Files showed us the brutality faced by Kashmiri Pandits and being a Hindu myself I don't support genocide. But what about the Godhra riots in Gujarat where Muslims were mercilessly attacked and butchered- was it also not a genocide?. Its not about whether or not we are Muslim or Hindu or a Christian or a Parsi or a Buddhist or a Jain. Its all about we being humans first. Why only talk about the genocide that occured in Kasmir. Let's also talk about the ostracization other religions are facing as well. Genocide in any form against any section of the society is and must be intolerable. PS- If you have been seriously affected by Kashmiri Files let's talk about Godhra riots as well. Even though both of these genocides were on the ground of religion but in the end we lost a lot of our fellow brothers and sisters. Our identity on the lines of religion, caste and creed, gender should be secondary even though they are kind of what the world thinks defines us. In the end we are human beings first.
