I'm on my GFs account but just came out as a trans woman after being a Metal/Hardcore Musician for 33 years at 44. I thought I was the only one who was a Trans Frontwoman and a lead guitarist.... I think Mina Caputo is the only Trans frontwoman in America, I kinda own the Dark Femme in me so it seems to go well with The look, in some ways I am lucky at 6'4 to be big enough to not get hate in public, but it doesn't make me feeel very feminine. Just out a month and I NEEEDED TO SEE THIS!!!

Out of topic, and doesn't concern me specifically as a cis straight male, but coming from that enviorment I also wish to raise awareness that in eastern slavic Europe, especially in Belarus, Ukraine and Russia (no, in Hungary there is no issue irregardless of anti-propaganda blowing up nit-picked part of some restrictive measures), physical and mental violence against LGBTQ people are ignored, and sometimes even performed, by the law. You can find numerous videos on the internet policemen (mainly in Russia) beating up homosexual men for being open about it!

Hence she is not right! I'm woman 32 years in heavy metal, all my girlfriends meet in metal screen, we are many, no discrimination ever, made my career n work in and with heavy metal! I totally chalange what she has said. In fact Voconis has played in my pub several times and are always,welcome to return. Amazing musicians. But can not agree with the statements!
