Mousey's story truly is an inspiration. Hearing her now able to sing a song in her operatic voice all the way through without trouble is so amazing and a testament to her strength of will and physical improvement. This song is infamous in her community. They use it as a metric to see how well she is improving. There are other versions of this that are even better. Also, a model like that one, design and rigging you could probaly get for about 500 to 1k. Her later models are much more expensive. I believe she said at one point she paid 10-15k for one.

At one point i thought infamous meant famous within a specific group or circle. But, infamous just means you're famous for being or doing something bad. So maybe skip the "in" and call it famous.

also wanted to add her "character" voice is her regular voice , though early on she did filter herself to be more polite but now with more confidence shes learned to relax , ontop of that she has the best chaotic energy , and some of the funniest clips you can find is when she is still streaming while on her heavy medication ( she has medication so intense that she has an implanted port/needle to her heart directly since its so intense it cannot be implemented any other way)

The cutesy voice is her normal and the deeper tone throughout the song is her going out of her comfort zone hence why it is a bit difficult for her but also this performance is a little old as she has so much more stamina and can do the song without any hiccups

Mousey is one of those people who you can jump into their stream at any point and feel comforted or filled with laughter. She is such a delight to watch and any time I have got to hear her sing I am blown away. I highly recommend you watch her sing Breathe from In the Heights or Part of This World from Little Mermaid.

Extra Bits- Her inspiration for becoming an Opera singer was the Diva Plavalaguna from The Fifth Element and she was training to become a Coloratura Soprano. She is on constant oxygen, you can hear it a bit in the background but she has changed her set up since moving house so it’s not noticeable anymore. She is obsessed with Sanrio character Cinnomoroll. She has deep friendship with Welsh streamer and KZbin personality CdawgVa. Who has fed her cinnomoroll obsession and taken her on streamed walkabouts of places in Japan, which are some of the most heartwarming streams I’ve ever seen. She is a massive tokosatstu fangirl and loves Kamen Rider ( I see that mask in the background) That’s all I can think of at the moment

A little bit correction regard information about Mousey. She was most subscribed streamer amongst females on Twitch, not all streamers. Her condition (CVID) disrupts her own immune system and her antibodies don't do their job. therefore, she cannot contact other people unless they have been in quarantine before. It is also connected to some medical devices. Therefore, she will only leave her room to visit doctors, or to occasionally see her family. This is very dangerous for her because without an immune system, her body cannot fight even weak bacteria or viruses. To be in a more or less healthy state, she needs weekly injections of donor plasma, this gives her a certain amount of antibodies that help at least a little to fight constant infections. Regarding her physical health. Yes, she was bedridden for several years, and because of this she developed muscle atrophy. And she could only walk slowly with the help of a walker. But now she is walking much better and recently bought herself a treadmill for further recovery. Regarding her singing and voice. She always had a very high voice, but problems with her lungs and respiratory tract made it even higher. This clip shows her first time using her operatic voice to sing on stream. Now she can easily sing one or two songs in an operatic voice, and in a normal voice she can sing for an hour or two. She has released several original songs and several covers. She can sing in many languages. On streams, she most often sings in English, Japanese and Spanish. Several times she sang opera in German and Italian. If you want to see her recovery progress in operatic singing, search for "Ironmouse sings The Ballad of Jane Doe" P.S. Regarding Vtuber models. Mousey is known for having a very large number of models, I’m not sure, but it seems to me that it has the largest number among all Vtubers. It seems the number has already exceeded 30 models. Creating a model can cost anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000, sometimes even more. Mousey said that she paid something like $15,000 for one of the models. And it is necessary to separate 3D models and Live2D models. Usually good Live2D models are more expensive and take longer to develop than 3D models.

if you havent already you should make a video watching her progress from here to her latest renditions , its truely amazing , and side note considering everything shes been through , shes claimed the accolade of Vtuber of the year of 2023 from 3 seperate award shows back to back and is one of the faces of the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) and even inspired multiple fundraisers with her best friend CdawgVA (Connor) who as i type this message is doing his 3rd cycle-athon across japan to raise money, last i checked he raised 270K$ , also you should check out her interview with the IDF podcast ironmouse "the performer"

So to answer your question about the cost of the models, she once stated that her most expensive model was $20,000. Granted the models she has now are far more advance with way more feature and physics then she had in 2021. Models can anywhere from 4k to 20k depending on the artist, model design, rigging, and any extra thing the V-tuber want the model to do. She was always high pitched and trained as a coloratura soprano, the damage from her long term MAC infection left her unable to access her lower register without a lot of pain and effort, and then only for short periods. This could possibly leave her normal speaking voice sounding higher maybe, I dunno. I haven't heard everything she's ever said though so if she did come back even higher she can probably speak to bats or something. Wouldn't put it past her to be honest.

There are a few videos of her doing *actual* opera in her opera voice, though she's usually a bit more self conscious about that (probably because she knows how she used to sound, and how it's supposed to sound, and can tell all the little things that are wrong that the rest of us can't). She is specifically a coluratura soprano, who often have parts written for them with very high and intricate runs of notes (and nowadays seems to have a tendancy to catch the giggles mid-run, which is very cute but probably frustrating)

i love mousey's music so much. she just recently was part of CDawgVA's cyclathon and at certain donation goals sang a bunch of different songs so i recommend checking those out some time. Also if you haven't heard you should check out Akuma Nihmune and Bao the Whale music. those two are amazing as well

About Vtuber models, there are a bunch of different artists and riggers that make them. Price can vary wildly, based on the artist, complexity, detail, 3d vs 2d, etc. You can get a very basic one for fairly cheap, at least as far as vtuber models go. The complex and detailed models from the more well known and reputable artists will go for thousands of dollars. Iirc, ironmouse said that her most expensive model was $10k.

Lol honestly, as crazy as it is, when you say "if she hadnt gotten sick imagine where shed be in the opera community"...... she would probably be less well off than she is now fame and money wise. Being a top streamer definitely pays better, like she has to be a millionaire at this point and can take care of herself and her family because of the transition from music into streaming

Vtuber models cost a lot. There are two model creator jobs, drawing the art, called mama or the artist, and making it move, called a rigger or papa. Art can cost between 1000-10,000. Rigging is almost double that.
