This is a cover she did of a vocaloid producer called Hiiragi Kirai who also produced/wrote a song off of her first album. It’s pretty much the same idea as any other Ado track, just this song was originally sang by a vocaloid called vflower. There’s a link to the original in the description of Ado’s cover

The scientific name is Chlamydoselachus anguineus, or 羅鱶- loveka in Japanese.. This deep-sea fish has the habit of not letting go once it bites, so the song is a combination of this fish and love.

the whole song is actually a japanese wordplay joke bc she’s saying “love ka?” like “is it love?” but it’s pronounced “rabuka” which is also the japanese word for frilled sharks

Oh man, I'm a huuuge band maid fan, but Ado is in a league of her own. She's literally becoming the Nirvana of this generation in schools. All the "alt" kids to her here. TBH, it's one of the very few things my kids listen to that I thoroughly love :)

English title is Frilled shark. Ado collaborates with Vocaloid producer. So you can say: Vocaloid music with a real vocalist. Vocaloid is a Singing synthesizer software. Senbonzakura with Wagakki Band is taken from Vocaloid. The original is from Hatsune Miku.

Another very new and VERY good Ado original song is マザーランド (Motherland) Her vocal flips is this song are insane. Art by the same person that did Readymade and produced by nirukajitsu (NILFRUITS) which is also just as syudou very worth checking out. Every song is a masterpiece. I'd love you to react to some of "syudou"'s music! He produced Useewa and all of his work is incredible. He's a vocaloid producer, but he also sings his own songs himself. In general checking out different vocaloid producers or cover artists is really worth it. Ado herself started out as one and theres a ton of talented people out there. I highly recommend コールボーイ by syudou (Call boy). Theres also a vocaloid version by Hatsune Miku if u want to compare them. It might be really interesting to see what u think of both versions. 爆笑 (Bakushou) is also insanely good. Theres only a selfcover by him and covers. I also really love カレシのジュード (Her Boyfriend Jude) it has no cover from syudou himself but a ton of fan covers. Just looking the name and "cover"will give u a wide range of amazing singers. Here a few cover artists (called utaite) that are worth mentioning and worth skimming through. All of their song choices are very based and well chosen but I named some really good ones under them. 宮下遊 miy_yuu / Official Channel / Miyashita Yuu I recommend: ノンブレス・オブリージュ (Non-Breath Oblige), Kilmaa, Wozwald, Traffic Jam His voice is something you will NEVER ever have heard before. I'll promise u that. ロス (Roce) I recom.: 自主~はい 私がやりました~, Follow, NAKISO - GENOGE feat.Roce, Jishu, If you love Ado's voice you'll be in love instantly. Her voice is really aggressive and strong. The first one is definitely up ur alley. Her high notes and vocal-play are crazy. If you actually do react to one of them and are interested I'm gonna be happy to give u more content.
