I was talking to my step dad last night about life and relationships. He said that he taught his daughters to be independent. He didn't want them depending on a man. 👀 So, it's not only black women who teach their daughters this; black men do as well.
@mercedesharrison55507 ай бұрын
Ty it’s bm the most. My mother never taught me this but my father did. However I am independent because it’s been who I have been before adulthood. Just to see my father become a man living off of women once no longer with my mother. I know no bw whose mothers or other women taught them this but I know plenty whose fathers, uncles, brothers and male cousins taught this. Whether they were players or regular dudes. Hmm, I wonder why? 😏

I hear black women say all the time that it was their fathers that taught them that. My father taught me that as well. And it’s because fathers know that black men are under performing and aren’t providers. Black women women have their shortcomings for sure. But black men like to live in denial about where they are financially, and what they built. A man that loves his daughter is not going to throw her to the wolves, knowing that these people don’t have the resources to take care of her or a family.

At 6.5-7min he's absolutely right about women being emotionally spent after managing an emotionally taxing job. I've a cousin who was an excellent nurse but when she got home she was so spent she would spend over 3 hours watching soap operas, not even watching it because tbh she really was too tired and in the end after many many years he walked away from their marriage. There was a lot more going on than just this but if it's how you start a marriage you have to ask yourself if it's going to get better or worse? Like KS says, it takes a LOT of work to be there for someone.

@JediWitness27 ай бұрын
This is why God designed it the way he did. When the man is not working and he comes home, because women don't have the same endurance, emotional control or overall energy that men have, she is supposed to help relax him and re-energize him so he can go to work better the next day. If he comes home to and exhausted, irritated, frustrated emotionally drained woman who has no ability to focus on him, cook, clean, give him attention either physically emotionally or sexually, or if she is so full of stress, anger and is simply emotionally drained herself, she is only making the situation worse for them both. She will then nag and harass him about every little thing that is not done around the house because regardless of how much women focus on their career or think they are career woman, women are still programmed deeply to be obsessed about the house. But because she now has no energy left to care about the house women now have demanded men take up the slack. But men are not the ones that change the dynamic between men and women in marriage, it was women and they simply assume that because they were then working that men were automatically going to agree to now do more chores around the house. But men never made such agreements, women simply assume that they would agree to this, but men refuse to.
@danteberry60477 ай бұрын
Funny thing is…when you compare a single man’s house or apartment to a single woman, his is cleaner, neater, and better furnished.
@itszbebabaybee7 ай бұрын
You are 100% correct. God knows what He does. There is an order to things, but we as humans want to do things are own way, and then complain that things aren’t working out or it’s “too hard”.
@JediWitness27 ай бұрын
@@itszbebabaybee well it was women, fully deceived because of their incredibly gullible nature, deceived by feminism, that changed dynamic between men and women. This is not something that men wanted at all but women who are further deceives and lied to about being oppressed and all this other nonsense. This is why it is men who have resisted these changes from the beginning and women are not learning how disastrous feminism has been to relationships and to society which is why some are even trying to go back
@ArmyWolves7 ай бұрын
An addition to the dynamic of men and women working is that in many cases the wife's income contributes say 30% of the overall household expenditure (her personal expenditure should not count since that is her personal stuff) but the wife will still feel the man should do 50% of the chores even when he is still bearing more than 50% of the financial burden
