She went back because she’s on a mission to defend the castle. It’s either win or die. If she just abandon their bannerman in the middle of a battle, it would severely damages the queen’s reputations. Given that Rhaenys’s a honourable woman with high integrity, I’m not surprised she chose to stay 🥲

I believe she had guilt of not taking out aegon during his coronation so she went into this believing she had only one option win this battle or die trying.

Mmmm that's a good call, I did not think about her being at Aegon's coronation. Yeah I guess her being a brave warrior makes sense to lay it all down.
