Hi Jhoan. You seem to really get Courtney and appreciate what an incredible talent she is. She truly is a generational level talent. Everything you said about her is so true. The vocals are unparalleled. Her vocal versatility is incredible. Courtney can sing virtually any genre and be absolutely great at it. Most singers, even the greatest, have a comfort zone where they are most at home, but take them out of that comfort zone, and maybe not so great. With Courtney, we haven't seen where her comfort zone ends, if it does have an end. It may be infinite, because no matter what style she sings, there is never any drop off in the incredible quality of he music. She also dominates a stage like virtually no other performer and she is a powerhouse as a songwriter. She has it all. This performance also demonstrates her amazing creativity as she takes the original pop version of this song and transforms it into a Funk masterpiece. The way Courtney sings this song, it is virtually impossible for a listener to stay still. It just demands that you get up and move with it. Every time I hear this performance, it just puts a smile on my face, a bounce in my step and puts me in a great mood. Any artist that can do that is really special and Courtney is certainly that. You've mentioned that you've heard Courtney's AGT performances, so I won't recommend them for future reactions. You've also heard Courtney sing a beautiful ballad (Breakable), so you know what an absolutely exquisite voice she has. I would recommend that you react to her version of 'Old Town Road' next. She takes the original Country/Hip Hop version and completely re-invents it in a miraculous way. Other than the lyrics, you wouldn't even recognize it as the same song. As an aside, what makes this performance even more unbelievable is that Courtney was only 14 when she recorded it. The same is true of 'Old Town Road'. It's on Courtney's KZbin channel. Jhoan, I don't subscribe to many KZbinrs, but I will explain why I will subscribe to you if you continue to react to Courtney. You clearly recognize her unique talents so different from even well known entertainers; she is only 14 in this Sucker performance. Also, you seem to have an educated grasp of music and entertainment nuances. Especially you can tell Courtney fully grabs your attention and owns any stage. The best examples of this so far are all her AGT performances, and even before at 12 on the smaller Britain's Voice Kids. Courtney will be 19 on July 6. Although she has many worldwide fans, she already should be a top superstar. Unfortunately, she has faced so many barriers, with personal, pandemic, business, music label problems, etc. that her progress has been slowed. Her drive and determination to perform how she wants keep her going, but mostly alone as an Independent Artist. I've rambled too long, but with just a little luck and a modicum of expert guidance, she can really blossom. If Courtney could perform on a big stage soon, she will become a household name!
