At 14, Courtney already shows the confidence and showmanship (probably not a good term for her natural ability to just be who she is, which is an entertainer who absolutely loves what she does. Not so much showmanship) And the ability to completely let loose while performing and doing what she loves most. Pure attitude when she starts to sing. She completely switches gears once the music starts. Even back in the day there weren't too many legends who could do as she does. Seems like she learned from all those back then who could dominate a stage once the music started. We know she watched KZbin video to learn from lots of greats, like Mick Jagger, Aretha Franklin, James Brown and a few others. Those artists poured their hearts out on stage. And so too does Courtney, and that is what makes her stand out from all others today. Not to mention her unique voice. Although I should have said that 1st. If I'm in another room and KZbin video are playing on my TV, I immediate know Courtney is singing in just a few notes coming from her. Too many artists sound alike today. Although some have spectacular vocals, not many have their own sound. Courtney has her own sound, her own look, her own style and most definitely no one I've seen yet who can do what she can on stage and make me want to repeat her videos on a loop for quite awhile. Great reaction to the best young performer, Jooo! An important thing you said was you can feel her presence. That's a rare special quality that comes with only special artists. You also said that should be her song; Courtney makes every cover like it should be her original. I hope you get a chance to compare her version to the Jonas Brothers, if you have not already done so. Do react to some other suggestions in the comments, too.

Hi Jooo. So great to see another Courtney reaction and it was terrific. Everything you say about Courtney and this performance is so true. This is spectacular from every perspective. From the vocals, to the performance, to the connection with the audience, it simply does not get any better than this. Since you hadn’t heard the original, we haven’t even touched on Courtney’s creativity. This was originally a hit pop song by the Jonas Bros and Courtney transformed it into a Funk classic. This a rendition of the song that is so upbeat and energetic that it just demands that you move with it. I have yet to see anyone listen to this song and not, at the very least, be bopping along with it. It’s simply a rendition that elevates your mood and any performance that can do that to the degree that this does is beyond special. It is a true treasure. Courtney always shows how a song was meant to be sung. There were four songs Courtney released in this series called the 'Cover Sessions'. You've reacted to two of them. On her KZbin channel, you will find ‘Old Town Road’ and ‘Someone You Loved’. Both are spectacular. Can’t wait to see you react to them. Thanks Jooo for reacting to Courtney’s cover of “Sucker”. I love to see your amazement as you are rockin’ to this amazing upbeat song. Courtney’s voice is so distinctive you would recognize it anywhere. However each song is totally different. She surprises you every time. No cookie cutter songs for Courtney where they all sound alike. I love the beat and the vibe of this song. Evidently you did too! Can’t wait for your next Courtney reaction!

Thank you for reacting to this one! Courtney has her own vision when singing someone else’s song, and it’s always so amazing it blows the original version out of the water. That is especially true here with this Jonas Brothers song! Can’t wait until she drops her original music soon!

Hi JOOO ; The most amazing thing about this song is the fact that Courtney Hadwin was only 14 yrs old when she did this cover. Courtney's ability to rearrange a song to fit into her style of singing is simply incredible. If you listen to the original you will see what a dramatic difference she created with this cover.
