Not sure if joking or being disingenuous. The "nerf" was never just about boob size or jiggle physics, but also about the in-game menu animations being replaced by lame generic ones, removing the poses and transitions that perfectly characterised Nicole's personality and attitude. Nerfed in game while not nerfed in a trailer (where the animations were probably already coded long before the nerf happened) just makes it worse, as it becomes borderline misrepresentation of the game's contents.

This is her original bust size, just with the bra. Her in game bust size is smaller than this. But more importantly, they removed her spin in the menu system. Feels just as bad to me as when they took away HoFi Kiana's lean. Yeah, I'm still salty about that. Do not _ever_ take away anything that expresses a character's attitude, it just comes out way worse.

​@@MBrandrDon't worry my girlfriend plays shooters and not these type of games and when I showed her the CBT 1 and 2 animations she said she preferred 1 and asked me if the company was sexist or something for doing that. I was like what? 😂. Goes to show you cant appeal to all. The nerfing is to avoid sensative people but I highly doubt the playerbase will be these sensative people so they should of just stayed the way it is but it could also be China too. But at the same time they could of done what they did for Genshin which is a CN version and uncensored version for some of the 1.0 characters. For the animations I agree with my girlfriend CBT 1 feels more smooth and confident which goes with her personality. Other than that the censorship doesent bother me but if you want it to be fair that would be my suggestion when it comes to her looks but again the sensative people will be complaining about having 2 versions lol.

It doesn't feel like anything was reduced. All they did was give her a sports bra. What bothers me, and should bother everyone, is that they took away her old animations. The proportions don't matter, it's the sassy, confident MOVEMENT of her personality that should never have been touched.

This is censorship like the tiny black bars in h is censorship. It's not like they're desexualizing the character at all. They just made an artistic decision with an in-development character that THEY created. If artists online can add more size to every character in every property, the devs have all the freedom they want to decide what THEIR character looks like in game.

​@@anon7730I like her more now, the model quality is better, so is the hair quality, while her animations were nerfed, the outfit makes more sense, how would she fight without a bra to hold their melons or with big melons bouncing, it's unrealistic, the assets would be heavier and she wouldn't be able to move as she moves. The bra design wise makes sense cuz it makes it more realistic, it holds the assets so she can fight and do her moves

Honestly as someone who goes to the gym a bit I find girls who wear sports bras very hot so honestly not a nerf. That still doesn't change the fact the fact that I most likely will not be playing the game as I am not really a fan of the type of game ZZZ is. I am more into turn based games which employ tactics but thats just me. You guys enjoy the game tho!

in the beta she was free to get, most characters are gotten by gacha except the 3 first members of the Cunning Hares (they are 4), Billy, Nicole and Anby in the beta were given out by free I hope they keep that in the game, the first 3 characters free to get

Ever since I saw Mina Aoyama's reaction to this Character Demo, Nicole's Character Demo, I've been excited just for Nicole; Though I will admit that She looks like Azur Lane USS Bremerton (CA-130), She's still Best Girl in Zenless Zone Zero. I'm still trying to guess as to who's voicing Nicole, My best Guess at the moment would be Alexis Tipton who Voiced Prinz Eugen and for a Literal Brief Second USS Honolulu (CL-48) in the English Dub of "Azur Lane: The Anime". Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man! Remember, MiHoyo knows what they're doing. Just look at the Pictures for the Ascension Level 6 on Everyone but Lynx and the Kids on Honkai: Star Rail..... They're all N@ked!

Nicole isn’t the only thing they censored. No one is talking about it though. They removed scenes that were “too violent” and had to cover up some comicbook CGs that were “too risky” in terms of mature themes, showing a person mutating into an etherial. Other scenes were removed from beta 1 as well. But of course the only thing people focus on is the boobs, and not the tone of the game getting a PG rating in a bunch of areas.

There was a lot that got censored that wasn't considered sexual; it is possible that this much of whatever Nicole's original design was survived via sheer exhaustion on the part of the censors. (This has sometimes been an effective tactic dealing with censorship in the United States, and it might very well work elsewhere.) I'm not screaming about this - I have no arguments with the values and position of the government in question that they'd find valid, and Hoyoverse games have been good at incidentally teaching the lesson that there's no point in arguing with somebody who actually has sources and is prepared to defend their position when I don't have similarly laid out backing for my own position - but I would encourage anybody who got into the previous betas to archive their copies of the files if they haven't already done so and still have those. Good to preserve stuff beyond easy reach of deliberate attempts to erase it.

​@@NewWave3313The booba censor made waves but now that its calmed down, many people are beginning to express a lot of pressing and concerning issues regarding everything with ZZZ. The booba nerf was the spark but plenty of people and content creators are now shifting the attention to a lot of game design issues to the point where even the most optimistic of the bunch are feeling like the game may do poorly on release and I certainly can't blame them when you look at the criticisms and the depth of them. The censorship is for sure a big one though because even without the booba nerf, I was also under the impression that the game was gonna be made to be a bit more mature than their usual brand and yet the second beta is proving otherwise which is lessening my excitement for it on top of everything else

Great trailer haha, but the censorship dives deeper than just Nicole, but no one is talking about it. They did censor some scenes and comicbook stills that depicted violence and mature tones, as well as cutting out lines of dialogue and some full scenes as well because they were “too risky”? I understand death and suffering and stuff could be a touchy subject in China but why sensor that stuff here? Games rated 16+…

This video shows hoyo is not against fanservice, heck that is one of the core aspects gacha games are based on. Their hands are tied due to the government regulations, one mistep and project can be pulled due to the limelight and scrutiny it is under. Just a hunch that they are not willingly hindering their profit margins.
