I remember the first time doing this quest I misread what the objectives were and drug his body all the way back to McCarren and then, when I realized I messed up, had to drag him all the way back to where he’s supposed to go.

Something I wish wasn't as true as this. There are times when it's difficult to retrieve your fallen comrades, they wind up being forgotten and potentially mislabeled. I do believe that you should never leave a fallen comrade behind.

It just bugs me that you can't get up onto the building rooftops to loot the fiends once you've iced them. With grenades you can possibly blast the bodies or parts of them down to then loot, though.

In the same building there is a cook and a gun merchant or an armourer. both need your help and both quests are not trackable.

At point where he sends me to talk to the dude in Westside to broker a deal, i just hack his PC and the rat him out to Lt.Boyd!

I love the NCR the poor people theyre so hurt they resemble so much of whats wrong with the modern age yet I still feel compelled to do my best to help them. Then I side with house obviously

The NCR are trying. Say what you will about the corruption and some big money interfering in politics, but they are admittedly one of the best chances of bringing actual civilization to the west. California has factories, major farms, water purification plants, functional roads, functional automobiles, ect. In my perfect ending, Vegas remained independent but allied with the NCR to maintain order and push out the Legion.

It's funny when I first started this quest, I didn't check the map properly and brought Ranger Morales body all the way to Camp McCarran 'walking' right upto this lady. I was so fuming when she would keep asking me when would I bring his body and I was like 'Damn you woman he's at your foot can't you see him???' I thought it might be another of those Bethesda bugs.

@@EdOfSchmed same way you drag across the open map. You don't let go of the body or the object when entering and it will load you whatever you drag on the other side.

I believe you can get the Cannibal perk as soon as Level 4, so you can easily get it before you make your way to McCarran.

This is the essence of why the NCR ending is the worst. They poorly outfit and train their troops Then refuse to spend resources on recovering/treating them Outsourcing their problems to bounty hunters and mercenaries

that is just the Mojave Campaign, the Brahmin Barons control the NCR, and would rather supply their caravans than NCR troops. if you went to california, you'd find NCR troops with good equipment and good training. but the Mojave Campaign gets no equipment, conscripts and criminals, because the government doesnt want to keep flooding resources to it
