I learned this years ago at a soccer camp. If I remember right the coach/trainer got the info from a military buddy. Showering at the end of the day, last few minutes in the shower turn it down to as cold as you can. It constricts veins and arteries and pumps more oxygen into your muscles and helps them get back into shape and ready for training the next day.

Get it!! Not gonna lie had a good laugh but way to start and you’ll only get better! I’m currently doing ice plunges at 35 degree water for 3-5 mins and it’s amazing still a mind battle getting in but it’s so worth it! Also I recommend brit get some neoprene socks so her feet won’t hurt. They are a game changer for sure! Best of luck!

My cross country and Track team at our junior college has a cold tank. First ever practice coach brings us into the training room and has us plunge in 49 degree water for 15 minutes 😭 we do it every day after we run, totally changed my life , so rejuvenating.
