I understand was she was telling her because love will make you blind it will mess with your senses and you can't think because all you see when you think you so in love with somebody you don't see their faults you you put up with a mess and even if they treat you wrong you will continue to be abused and in reality you are being abused by this person and misuse by them I know cuz I let myself be that way and when I raise my two kids they did it to me and anybody that I had in my life because I loved him my last husband but nobody gave me a chance when it was all said and done I was the bad guy you know and everybody turned on me so I know what it feels like and anybody that's ever been there should be honest with they self and say I know what this is what she's going through I understand it because they will turn on you you know you raise children by yourself you're not perfect it's far from it but they'll turn on you and treat you like you never did nothing nothing for them or the man that you love will treat you like he didn't ask nothing of you but yet you did so much for him they they have a mentality to forget but they don't forget and and can't forgive you for what they think that you did because they blame you for their mess and somebody else's mess and in the long run your love didn't matter to them and you going out by yourself and you're still hurt still licking your wounds and when it's all said and done you're by yourself you shut down you won't love nobody else you won't let nobody else get close to your heart like that again now tell me I know there's somebody out here that understands this I don't have that much pride I don't have pride but I can be honest about it because this was a lesson life lesson I learned and she was right to tell her the truth but she just didn't want to hear it at that time but I think that's the longest way she started seeing and she started realizing that she was telling the truth no I'm listening to both sides of the story her stubbornness and pride got in the way and made her blind to her emperor that was using her and every time he she looked at him I don't care how she got on her knees and how she bowed to him he was throwing her in jail locking her up taking her her stuff away and you know it was a game to him and she kept taking it and taking it and taking it when you get tired you won't take it no more either you learn from it or you'll die from it it's going to be one of the other but it can't be both either they make it stronger it'll make you weaker it's totally up to you how you come out of this you're either be the winner or other loser when it's all said and done because you know what to them they're the winner but in reality if you come out of it right you are the winner love is tricky it can make you blind and if we don't ask God about the people who are in our lives it will really mess you up that's all I'm going to say I understand does she told her the truth but I understand she don't want to believe it and somewhere along the line in this show and these episodes he does turn he does he does admit that he was using her it's sad I'm sad but you don't have time for pity party time for you to put your life back together and move on because guess because they don't give you another thought

First Prince had everything, but once he started treating Ruyi as a stepping stone after she got out of the cold palace, it broke my heart. Makes me wonder what Chun has put into his head. Good woman or not, I can see why the emperor reprimanded Chun during the funeral.

It wasn’t that Chun put ideas into his head. The 1st Prince knew from the beginning that power was the only way to survive. Ruyi didn’t have enough power, which caused her to be accused and thrown into the Cold Palace. He heard rumors that his mother was killed by the Fucha Empress because he was the First Prince and a likely Crown Prince, which further confirmed this view. Although he is wrong to use Ruyi, it definitively wasn’t Chun that made him have these ideas.

@@hannykee8546 Chun's treatment of him was also a cause. She did not treat him like her son. Even in other vids, even if First and Third prince got in trouble together, she would run to her child. During the scene where the Emperor got angry, she threw the First Prince under the buss and tried to save her child when it was the Third Prince who brought the idea to her. Again when they were kneeling in the rain, she spoke for her son and not for both. Ruyi loved him like her own, Chun only did what she had to as his foster mother. That made First prince's heart hard. Too much trauma and mistreatment/unfair treatment. He would've turned out better if he had stayed with Ruyi.

What I found extrange is that he didnt seek Ruyi again, to be loved by her even when he was at Chun's care. But is a romanticized version of the real events. Who know what really happened.
