I think the elephant in the room is that some women are naturally pretty, and therefore, they quite literally don’t need as much makeup as others to seem polished or put together. I think this is just a fact of life and the reality of the society we live in. Some women don’t know where they fit on this scale, and because of this, theres no “one-size-fits-all” approach that can be taken without hurting someone’s feelings due to comparison. We have to state the obvious so women who could actually use the help can receive it in an unbiased way. I know that’s much easier said than done.

Of course. Men are attracted to anything. However, if a woman wants to attract a type of man, they typically prefer more polished and put together women. For example a lawyer or an entertainer who goes to a lot of events may require a wife who knows how to dress, speaks well and fit in with the crowd he hangs with. 9 out of 10 times she at least will need to wear some form of makeup to these events. A teacher may not require this for his wife..

I had my eyebrows micro-bladed a few years back and that was the best money ever spent... and occasionally will throw on a strip lash to make my eyes pop. I think that women should be honest with themselves and determine where they fall on the spectrum of attractiveness. Some women are very very naturally beautiful. Me? I need a little help in that department. My nose is on the bigger size I am not going to do it everyday so it appears smaller. It took me a while to accept myself. I got sick of spending energy hating a body part I did not even get to choose. Once the make up gets off my nose is still there. I am not going to get surgery so I have learned to accept it. I got some beautiful natural lashes though. I will put effort into my lashes. But even with make up on I don’t even look as close as some women look and that is OK. I have no interest in a lawyer or for any man for that matter in THIS season of my life. I just want to look my best because my mom didn’t teach me and it’s always been a goal of mine. Don’t go broke trying to be something you are not. Health is wealth. Inside and outside. I been investing heavy on the therapy. I am not rich so I can’t afford much else at the moment. One day I won’t be paying as much for therapy and as often and I can have leftover to invest in other things. I think every woman is in different seasons of life and as long as we encourage women to be their best self in all ways all is good. As my soul prospers so will everything else.

Im not going to lie, I’m the same and I need help too. Makeup takes my look to a different level. It can make me feel very insecure since I have average looks however when I do my makeup it’s like whoaaaaa. The best way to win the game for me is to not play in the first place. I’m not using my looks to compete but I’m working on getting myself together. The problem is average is bad due to social media but we all ain’t living that social media life so somebody lying. Those men that say ”they prefer women with no makeup” are the MEN that look at the other women that put on makeup in a thirsty way. Same with clothing. I love this conversation. In my line of work which is food service even though it is just delivering food and dropping it off I make sure that as a woman I have my hair done and my makeup done. I was also born disabled and I'm in a wheelchair so I feel that being that we live in a society that people just look at you and think oh she's a mess when that's not the case so it's like I have to be a little bit more mindful on my appearance. One my uniform it consists of casual attire meaning I wear just a simple black T-shirt or polo shirt with a pair of maybe cargo pants and some running sneakers very much so athleisure. I want to feel like a woman and very feminine and I feel like when I put on makeup and do my hair I kind of level up the athleisure attire. I put on a nice pair of earrings. A nice smelling perfume along with giving good customer service. In my perspective I have noticed that I get tipped actually more so on doing this on a regular basis. Also I will say this I've gotten a lot of dating prospects as far as men go. doesn't matter whether you work at Tesla or if you work at McDonald's always look your best. Take pride in everything that you do. like my mama used to always say you never know who you're going to meet and what opportunities could be open for you because of meeting said people.
