Glad to see you're back. I try not to put too much oil on my scalp,but I have spot in my crown that gets dry and itchy. Do you have any suggestions?

It could be so many reasons why you're experiencing that. However there are oils specifically formulated to treat dry/itchy problem areas. I've heard great things about design essentials therapeutics line and I've personally used the affirm scalp care oil (this one is pretty good). I'd start with going to a haircare professional first to see if the issue is topical or internal- if internal they will probably suggest you visit a dermatologist. Best of luck to you! 💖💖

So are we doing wrong by greasing children's scalp when we comb it

You don't want to put anything heavy on the scalp. If they are experiencing a little dry scalp make sure you're using the right shampoo products. Moisturizing shampoos and conditioners are essential for children with dry/porous hair. Then, if you must use a light serum on the scalp you can do so after or during styling, but nothing heavy. Keracare and Design Essentials are great product lines.
