I would argue that if most modern grown women can't or don't consider the consequences of their actions and regularly make life changing decisions to either fit in, for fun, and/or because it feels good at the time, a 15yr old girl definitely didn't "know" what she was doing. That being said, that doesn't excuse or mitigate her actions and even if she is truly regretful and was lied to, coerced and manipulated, she chose and stayed committed to her decision well after the age of consent. It wasn't until life got hard that she decided she wanted to be British again. I believe the judgement is correct and the legal system should stop hearing her appeals but if you say 15 is old enough to know what she's doing on a scale like this, then there's nothing a 15yr old should not be able to consent to.

Nah, it’s a bad case he has to use to argue from but he is asking some fair questions as far as the legal issues go. While I agree with keeping her out, there is definitely an argument on whether she is a victim of trafficking (I would say she was because she was underage and lured from her parents) and whether we have some obligation to her because of that. All that being said, while keeping her out is great, it’s another way the establishment can kick the can down the road and ignore the problems we have at home with radicalization. They’ll keep her out and it will look like they’re doing something, meanwhile pro terror marches will continue without the police doing anything. The government will pretend it’s all hunky dory.

A person can not hold multiple citizenship unless he or she are special in some way. and a person can not get passport from the said country unless he/she is a citizen of that country.

I doubt that custom is that common. but to answer your question , the person is not their husband, not in uk legal sense. sure they can be married in some other countries laws and have legal binding contract but in UK you have to form a contract here. also looks abbit suspicious you tell the visa people we been married for 3 years when say shes 18. don't think UK will look kindly to the girls parents and lock them up (rightly so)

Her parents knew nothing of her plans and they were not militant, they had not taught her that Isis was good. She and her friends lied and stole in their efforts to leave Britain. They raised other children who have lived lives without crime and terrorist leanings. You can have 10 kids and use the same parenting with each of them and end up with 10 different outcomes. Shamima knew exactly what she was doing. A schoolmate had done the same thing a few months prior. She and the other 2 young women choose not to confide in anyone they knew would disagree. They embraced the cause, embraced the idea of having a warrior husband and bearing children for the cause, they reject ed democracy and Western civilization. She made her choice and for years had no regrets. Personal responsibility is a bitch sometimes.
