Your a brave soul riding the number two family member in the sacred cockpit zone. I have recently discovered your site. Very well done. I am 75 year old private pilot who has not kept my SE Land ticket active. Live in Naples so contacted a Piper Arrow jockey came into contact with by fate. Medical and Flight Review puts me legal to get on the saddle again. You never really ever leave aviation if your a true lover of the art. You inspired me with the way you make it look so easy to stay ahead of that unbelievale chariot ride of yours. No ego or look at me on your videos makes a person feel he is riding with a good friend. Keep up the good work. Its obvious you have a passion for what you do.

I spent 20 years in the Air Force and it was great guys like you that chauffeured me all over the world in a KC-135R . I never worried when the wheels came up because I knew I was in good hands! I gave you guys the best Aircraft I could and we had a blast! You truly are a professional and the Air Force was luck to have you! Clear Sky's and if you ever fly over Iowa that's home to me now on the family farm.

Departing in heavy clouds, landing in heavy haze, it’s surprising #1 maintained smiles throughout the flight. Appears #1’s becoming more comfortable in the right seat, a tribute to both your flying skills, Greg and her confidence of them.

Orville's last flight was in a Lockheed Constellation piloted by Howard Hughes, in the mid-40s. The Douglas DC-3 had transformed civil aviation in the late 30s. I think Orville had an inkling of where we were headed. Story goes that he said the Connie had a longer wingspan than his first flight. 😁

Best show ever. The interface between you and your wife is hilarious. You making comments about headwinds even though she's onboard adds to the tension...she says very little waiting for you to screw up. And when you do watch out although I know you know that. I'm speaking from one who has been married forever only not as a pilot. Love your KZbin sight.

@@paulsuprono7225 We certainly have Paul. We're in a coastal hamlet south of Port Macquarie about 4 hours north of Sydney. Got evacuated about 4 weeks ago for much of the night - but no out of control problems since - but in the south of the state and east Victoria are having a few nightmares. Combination of a long drought, high winds and state and local bodies not undertaking hazard reduction as they should. As I understand it, back burning and hazard reduction adds to the states global warming count but bushfires do not!!! Madness or what?

Good example of a pilot (and controller for that matter) playing in the premier league. When Minneapolis Center cleared him down to FL230 he acknowledged using his abbreviated call sign. But center noted another a/c had also mistakenly acknowledged the clearance. Center repeated the instruction and she made it very clear who it was for. When Greg re-acknowledged, he used his full (instead of abbreviated) call sign. It may seem like a small thing, but attention to detail and clarity of communications ensures no assumptions.

Always enjoy your videos... I often used to fly out of Calgary to Vancouver with my dad as a kid in a 310 Riley Rocket... the mountains are beautiful on a clear day.
