Yeah im surprised by the reaction. Do they think abusive survivors speak up so fast??? Especially when is a child with an unstable home (at least until recently) and the abuser is within the family??? This storyline could drag to next year and I wouldn’t be surprised. All that said it does look like the change is coming near. Even if not everyone finds out i hope she trusts to talk to someone soon, even if its a friend.

JJ deleted the video. They probably did it to drag out this storyline until August. If the reveal only happens in August, it'll be another disappointment from the new executive producer. JJ should have been discovered in July. There are several things they have to explore. And the worst thing is that Frankie basically told Darren and Nancy that the reason she cuts herself, drinks and is the way she is is because of JJ. And that was simply (and contrivedly) forgotten.

The message said it would be deleted from ALL devices, and it didn’t say the video would appear in Recently Deleted for 30 days as you’d typically see when deleting something on an iPad. It could actually be inaccessible to the average user (but, of course, with sophisticated tech like the police would have, it can probably still be retrieved).

⁠@@RogerMarket as apple user that's not what happens just even went through the process to double check it will give the message to say it be deleted off all devices and cloud. but it went into my recovery folder. JJ deleted it from the normal holding space he didn't go into the recovery folder where the video will sit for 30 days. So yes he hasn't fully deleted it. Even do the message states it will be deleted from all the devices. It really won't be unless jj went into recovery and fully deleted it. Frankie has 30 days to acess it before it gets fully deleted and by look the way they've not allowed jj in the show to do that I reckon jj thinks he's sorted it but he really hasn't so I think that Frankie will restore it and bring to the police to show them it is in fact jj attacking her

I'm asking because I genuinely don't understand and not to judge. Why does Frankie not tell people? Because often people who are abused and don't tell have a much more complicated relationship with the abuser but with this storyline Frankie seems to straight up hate JJ and not have mixed emotions about him at all so I'm just confused given that he is hurting the family she loves and she knows what he is doing is wrong and doesn't seem in denial?
