I'm from Australia and I'd heard about Hollyoakes for years but I'd never seen an episode. I saw a few shorts and this storyline in particular and the acting has been something incredible to watch. It's really compelling and impactful to see such an issue handled in this way. I'm hooked and will be looking forward to starting my journey from the first episode so I can get to know everyone.

These cast cuts seem to be getting more and more ridiculous by the minute as I've just found out that even Sally St. Claire is leaving. I know the Hollyoaks producers are trying to cut back production costs to save money 💷💷💷 but surely they can come up with a better idea than axing cast members left, right and centre. And why didn't they play the original 90's Hollyoaks theme during Tom and Cindy's exit? At least that would've added nostalgia and made their departures seem more worthwhile at least.

As well as playing the 90's era Hollyoaks theme for tom and Cindy's departures they could've also shown old clips of Tom and Cindy with the old gang such as Max, O.B. Gordon, Helen, Mandy, Jude and Lewis. As for Sally, I'll obviously miss her because she became such a presence on the show and I like how the McQueen's adopted her and made her family even after Myra left.
