My mum breastfed me until I was over two years old and I literally never got sick with common colds or anything like that, obviously it's not the cure for everything, but it certainly is not hurting her.

Don't let anyone make you doubt breastfeeding Delilah, I was 2 1/2 when my mum finished breastfeeding me. I think it's a good bonding experience and it won't do her any harm. I might take a picture of you with my to the hairdressers next time I go! I have really think hair too, and it's a bloody nightmare! Lovely video as always, keep doing what your doing Rhiannon xxx

Well done for still breastfeeding! Everyone who actually does any research would know the old "until 1 year" is COMPLETELY outdated and is recommended until 2 years old. Plus what is the point stopping if your still enjoying breastfeeding - i can't see one single benefit of formula over breastfeeding, can anyone else?

Eva Grace completely agree, it's the most natural thing in the world, I don't know why people would rather give their child another animals milk (which isn't designed for their babies) over their own milk.

I would advise that you say "no thank you Delilah" when she pulls hair and stuff because it's important that you tell or she may do the same to other children and her adult carers. It's not as harsh as saying "no" but still lets her know that pulling hair would hurt somebody :)

You may start a debate with those comments. Breastfeeding alone doesn't stop babies getting ill or make them recover faster there are lots of factors at play including if they were ill in the first place or just grouchy and sniffly with teething. My breastfed only until six months baby and for milk until he was 15 months was seriously ill at four months and again at four years but my topped up on formula weaned by four months daughter has never even had a cold or upset stomach and she's 24 now. No doubt it's best and helps with immunity but it isn't a cure and bottle fed babies won't be plagued with illness they can't shake off. It's hard for mums who can't or don't want to breast feed please don't think your baby will be plagued with illness if you have to bottle feed.
@gillibluejay21457 жыл бұрын
Andrea Parr I don't think Rhiannon is trying to say breastfed babies never get ill or formula fed babies are 'plagued' with illness and I'm definitely sure she's not trying to make those who don't breastfeed feel bad. She was simply highlighting the fact that breast milk tailor makes antibodies to pass on to the child when they are ill and this fact in itself is reason enough for her to continue breastfeeding Delilah. Of course breastfed babies still get ill but generally, compared to children who have been formula fed, they get ill less and will recover quicker because they will get those antibodies that are not in formula.

Andrea Parr i think YOURE the only one who wants to start a debate here.

Babies, toddler, children, they already are tough work to begin with, so why people argue about your way of raising Delilah is beyond me. I have a 3 years old, formula fed from day one, and he hardly gets sick... Maybe it's his own constitution, maybe it's because I'm not a germ freak. If he let his food go on the floor (and it's not too dirty), we have a 5 sec rule : you blow on it and it still can go in your mouth ;)

Gosh women should do what they feel best - fed is best no matter what you decide. If the mum is happy then baby will be happy. If you want to breast feed great,if you want to bottle feed great honestly ppl just encourage women to do what's right for them, no judgement!

Phoebe h My son is 11 months and he understands 'no' already. So he doesn't pull hair anymore or bite etc. He doesn't pull things he's not aloud of shelves anymore if i say no. Never to early to start i guess but all babies understanding is different.

I actually found out the other day that decaf coffee has more caffeine than regular brew coffee!😳don't know if it's 100% true or not though..👀💓
@amyamy15077 жыл бұрын
Emily Sanchez really?
@emi-ji8tv7 жыл бұрын
Emily Sanchez why should it have more caffeine in it than a normal coffee? That doesn't make sense, why would there be decaf coffee if it doesn't contain less caffeine?
@emilysanchez73697 жыл бұрын
Emilia I have absolutely no idea like I said idk if it's true or not but I think it was light roast v.s dark roast where it's more caffeinated I have no clue 😂
@katiechristianson17757 жыл бұрын
Emily Sanchez that's true actually I found that while pregnant and researching it. Never thought it would be the case but decaf does have more
@kendramadelyn7 жыл бұрын
You're probably thinking about light roast via dark roast (both caffeinated) light roast has more caffeine, even though one might assume dark roast has more! This is due to the roasting time of the beans. Non-caffeinated coffee DOES have trace amounts of caffeine, but not enough to make a difference. ☺️ hope this helps!!
