Please read this people: Men and women are equal. Not one is better than the other. HOWEVER, we are also obviously different in many respects. There's many things that women do better than men, and many things that men do better than women. It doesn't make one better than the other, they simply compliment each other! Just because in general a man is naturally physically stronger (not that some women aren't) doesn't mean that he's better. That's why tasks and jobs that require physical strenght and a certain fortitude fall to men. Edit: Wow I did not realize people are so dense. I never said that men and women are the same. That's the opposite of what I'm saying. I KNOW that men are generally better athletes. Saying "No we're not equal because men are stronger" is like saying "No blacks and whites aren't equal because white people are better at being white" Like wtf obviously there's differences, but we're still equal in who we are and in value. (5+10=15) = (13+2=15) Both equations are equal, but not the same. One may work better in one scenario and one might work better in another, but they're equal!!!!!

We see grown men who are well over 6' tall, 200+ lbs, 5-8% body fat, strong/fast as hell get laid out on a weekly basis in the NFL. She's awesome! But, I would hate to be getting all of that attention for no other reason that I am a girl. If she was male, she would be the average or below avg. player. She sure wouldn't be getting all of this attention. But since she's a female she's amazing? That cheapens the equality argument in my opinion. To give her all of this special treatment & attention because she is a girl is a huge contradiction. Women are not the physical equivalent to men. You can always find some exception to the rule but they are still exceptions. We can do most anything a man can do but that doesn't mean we can do it better or at the same level they can. Physically we are simply not created equal. You don't have to beat a man to be bad ass, just be bad ass! The only way she would succeed in the NFL is if they give her special treatment.They'd be doing it for the publicity and specifically because she is a girl. The only reason she'd want to play in the NFL is because she knows that. This is silly. If this chick gets into a fight with one of her teammates and he punches her in the mouth, bcse that happens often in sports, are we going to shrug it off as a part of sports or are they going to make it a big deal that a man hit a woman? Because you can't have it both ways, either you are equal on every level regardless of gender or not.
@commonsense51886 жыл бұрын
You're correct, it's the same as when a black man or woman, makes it into a certain position in politics, or anything educational in nature etc, they're put up on some magical pedestal and given ridiculous amounts of media attention. What happens? People eat it up, without even realizing it's not a good look. If anything, it just makes it seem as if the selection of intelligent, logical, successful black folks is so small, that it needs to be glorified when someone makes into a prominent position. It's ass backwards and naive America doesn't even realize it.

It's easy to score social justice points these days, just claim that you're doing it for women or homosexuals and people will cheer for you. "WOW they're letting a woman try out for the NFL?! WHAT A GREAT TEAM!" reality = "we're playing on people's weak mental state by having a woman at the tryouts to get some easy SJW points".

Why is there so much hate and sexism in the comments? I’m confused someone help. Edit: the replies to this comment are oblivious to what “sexism” is- I’m not talking about what her “stats” are or the fact that you think she’ll get “hurt”; I’m talking about the unnecessary and obviously *sexist* comments...does somebody need to define what that means?

Dude its kos she's gonna get hurt

Its not sexism we just find it funny that people actaully think that she can play at the male pro level. No doubt she can play and she has heart but there is a false narrative going around that there is no real biological difference between men and woman but there is. the is reason why most physical PRO sports have different leagues for men and women

It's not sexism to point out that she had 3 tackles and played in 3 games in 2 years at Junior College. Those are just the facts. It's also a fact that no other athletes on that team with similar stats received a single scholarship offer. Toni received several and appeared in super bowl commercial. If she was compensated for the commercial appearance or receives royalties from the commercial airing, that's actually an NCAA violation (the new rules on compensation for use of likeness haven't officially kicked-in yet). So she either wasn't compensated and waived her right to royalties, she was paid via an intermediary or the NCAA turned a blind eye to it.

Just want to state this, Some of the reply's are just saying basic facts of the gender differences; if you find that offensive, I don't know what to say.....

Why do people hate man when she make she gone go down in history no cap a girl athlete should not be rare not on the field, not on the court or anywhere she gone be great

Bro she had 3 tackles in her entire high school career, runs a slow as fuck 5.7 forty, and is 5'5 135 lbs. She isn't great at anything, she couldn't be third string on a division 1 high school team.

She’s 25 now and going to a liberal arts school in California. No, she’s not playing football.

this hits hard bc i play football as the first and only girl on our school football team (Halfback/running back and safety) my own family began to hate on me bc i was different but i had my loyal best friend and now boyfriend there to support me and now everybody loves what i’m doing, but they scared of me bc i knock every guy in the dust due to previous strength in elite gymnastics training.

Qui P I was in 8th grade when I started and I’m now a junior. Kinda regret writing this comment because I look like a 5 year old. But it is true that when I started playing I was a girl. And there are guys that are stronger than me I didn’t mean for it to come off that way. But the only reason my family hates on me is because I’m trans lol.

itz talkaboutA 3POI I’ll be honest the way i wrote this it really does look like cap. But it’s not and you can read my reply to the other guy if you want a clearer explanation.
