I love Shannon Sharp! I don't think the Broncos win a Super Bowl without him. He was like having a third wide receiver in there, and no linebacker could cover him. Every team has to have a motor mouth and Shannon was it! But he always backed up his trash talk with stellar play and a likeable goofiness! Those 96'-98' teams were homegrown w/o much free agency. Rod Smith was undrafted, and Terrell Davis was a 6th rounder. Thank you Broncos!

Yeah Shannon Sharpe was the greatest not only with his athletic ability but also an acrobatic tight end. His movements is as sharpe and smooth as a symphony and cascading waterfall. He is the greatest of all time.

Shannon was a top 5 TE who could just take a game over Amanda of pure class character and Integrity Geat media personality ! I think Shannon oils be an absolute perfect fit to be the next NFL Commisioner so intelligent and effective communicator knows where players are coming from and would be the best NFL Commisioner ever can bring all sides together working as one and making the product we see on the field 100% better I can’t think of another person with his qualifications for the job!! I would love too see this happen !

One thing i would like to see improved in these "how good was he really" videos (and this is acroos all channels) is more of how good they actually were. This was a good video but it seemed likenit was 90% Broncos history with some Shannon stats sprinkled in. I would like more of how he was measuring up compared to ther tight ends, who were the guys that could argue they were better than him at his position? What strenghts and weaknesses separated them? He was one of the first and best receiving tight ends in a time where tight ends were expected to block a lot, how did he measure up with receivers? Stuff like that

He also had successful blocking when he needed to. He didn't only show that Tight Ends can be offensive weapons, but when he did block people he BLOCKED THEM HARD AND POWERFUL. If we could have got Ray Lewis and Shannon on the same team early in their careers that team would have won 7 or 8 Superbowls easily.
