Having a similar 30yr career in conventional TV, where it's a TEAM, I would say the biggest takeaway for new creators esp, is, don't do it alone! Find a creator that offers a course/feedback and a discord where you can get advice and prevent the mistakes and alleviate the fear of the unknown!
@theYarnGeek Жыл бұрын
💯!!! I nearly cried at the 7 minute mark when you were talking about how many jobs a creator does in order to make a 7 minute video look easy. Thank-you so much for putting words to my current overwhelm and for your inspirational channel story. This interview has truly busted my spirits this morning and given new motivation for the day. 🌸💕

"Hey guys" comment at the end was worth the price of admission, great input. Talk to 1 person, not the masses 👍👍

Orly it’s time for you to build a team I can hear it in your voice. If I had to guess it’s a fear of not controlling every aspect. Sounds like you are doing it with your clothing brand it’s time to do it with KZbin! You got this come on!

Hey Sean, I have a question. I have over 200,000 subs, but I only get about 2,000 views per video when I post a new video. Do you know why I’m not getting more views? Are my videos being hidden from my audience?

Think media has helped me again. I've been KZbin for a while but I just starting posting videos for a couple of months, I was stuck with Analysis Paralysis. But I love what she said don't wait for a a perfect video just upload... AM ❤ it.

This is a wonderful video. She is very talented but she also seems to have a hard time giving up control. It could be related to past problems. But the sooner you outsource, the more free you can be unless you are Mary's Nest - who can do 1M on their own which is amazing too. The take-home message I heard is (based on my background only), bring someone on early and teach them the way you want things done. It is a long runway to train someone and you have to let them fail. Be generous with them. I hope Shari gets the staff she wants so she can be more free. She seems real interesting, very talented, and super smart. I think this is an opportunity for anyone who has her aesthetic and you could do some free work to share with her, it could be a win/win for you both. I don't have any of the skills she has, but I bet a lot of viewers might. Great tips/feedback on brand deals at 51:00

Mighty hugs thanks for this wonderful guidance today🤗💜I was editing my latest vid & listening to this at the same time. Someone once told me that my passion in creating content sucked, and that part when she did mentioned most on her own, I feel even more inspired & motivated as I know my passion does not suck. It just need time & practice to improve & flourish😁💜

Can’t have that mindset, many young beautiful people, still don’t make it on YT. It’a a grind for everyone! 💕

Being young and beautiful does help. We’re attracted to the attractive.
@ChristinasHome Жыл бұрын
@@SoundEngraver I agree it probably helps, but I feel it’s usually said to discredit the hard work that person has done. It is just 1 small extra leg up, however plenty of people that are young and beautiful still do not become successful on YT.

As you’re listening to your guest speaking, are you looking directly at the camera lens the entire time? You appear to be looking at the audience while she speaks vs seeing her on a monitor.
@Prego307 Жыл бұрын
Really? That's what you're worried about?
@thatsjusttara Жыл бұрын
That's actually a good point. I do remember them encouraging to look at the lens all the time. I'm curious about this as well.
@ChrisDavisTrumpet Жыл бұрын
That also crossed my mind. I’m wondering if his monitor is over the camera lense. Nice.
