She's having a ...| Baby Shower | Texas VLOG

Hey you guys!

This past month flew buy! It feels like just yesterday we were all heading to Texas for my little sisters baby shower.. now it's almost August! Texas was crazy & anytime family gets together it can get weird. We had our moments that long weekend. The craziest part was Amanda and I actually ended the trip at the airport way too early in the AM.. so early we weren't able to check our bags in (Yeah didn't know that was even a thing... as I'd never been to the airport that early in my entire life). We both had flights out at 4/5pm and we had to be dropped off at 11am. My connecting flight in Dallas kept getting pushed back as well... so I wasn't even going to be home until the following day. To say I was annoyed and stressed would've been an understatement. GOD is good though, Amanda got on her flight home around the time I was able to finagle my way onto another flight earlier flight. We both got home safely & I wasn't stuck in Dallas overnight. THANK THE LORD!
Long story short. We had a lot of time for catching up during our 6 hour airport day & looking back, yes it absolutely sucked sitting by the baggage claim area because we had to wait until 4 hours before our flights to even check in our luggage to be able to get through security. P.s. get breakfast & coffee BEFORE going to the airport if you're there over 4 hours before your flight, because the mini breakfast place outside security in the AUS airport is trash.
Anyways, I don't get to spend much time with my sisters anymore. We all live in different states & life get busy. Two of us run our own businesses and one is about to have a baby/is a full time nurse that works nightshift. So, although it was not my idea of "quality time" it was def a lot of time haha. & it is easier said than done in the moment, but try to remember that its really not that bad & there's a reason it worked the way it worked. Just make sure you at least have a good time & have someone to be miserable with, at least thats what I told myself!
