47:12 Going through with fighting the princess isn't pointless, because the "Fight Back" option at the end would be different than normal because you defied her. Also the "Carve into her divine heart" is an option if you fight the Apotheosis with the Contrarian voice instead of the Paranoid by slaying yourself with the blade (Instead of not bringing it) in the Tower.

now THIS. is my favorite route in this entire game! i love it to death its so cool thx for checking it out EDIT: The new chapter 3 expansions especially can vary GREATLY depending on what voice you get for them, theres a different version of apotheosis if you happened to reach it by going into the Tower armed and slaying yourself! same for any other expansions you may tackle

Yo merg! You should check out the FNF mod step right up adventure isle. Its a sick indie horror mod. Here's a tip for when you beat it. In one of the songs you can send an email. Go to the song again, delete the email, play the song, then go to the credits after.

The most epic chapter where she becomes the strongest princess of all managing to survive in the long quiet for longer than any other princess and manages to break a piece of you and the cage and can see the real world and also where your character realizes his perspective changes things and uses that to fight back, and also a redemption of Broken as a character for many people 47:47 I do was also originally disappointed you couldn't kill her but after reflecting on it for a couple days I think it is fine, you have make her beyond your power and only the long quiet/shifting mound the actual most powerful beings in this construct can stop her, there is actually a scene you missed if you break her barrier with your blade and then fight back when she is ripping you, which I will admit it is a better conclusion rather than if you had just slay her when breaking her barrier

It's the narrator who explicitly tells us about the perspective stuff which then provides a jumping off point for us. Plus we realise it in other routes too, and that's outside of Shifty telling us when we first meet her: Cold implies it during Burned Grey; Smitten suggests it during Thorn; it's a integral piece of the Wild; Paranoid exploits it again in Cage; and several princess seem to know such as Tower, Fury, even Nightmare, Wraith and Moment of Clarity to some extent. And Broken was also (and better imo) redeemed in Adver-Fury and Cage and he was already great in Wild.

@reubensalter8125 other routes is definitely more minor and sometimes the voices are assuming or implying The Narrator fully knows what you can do so it feels more like gaining access to a cheat code of reality, which to some extense is why it feels you should have won against Apotheosis but she is too powerful Also I am curious when does Cold implies it in the Burned Grey?

@@paulomatute4114 She's only too powerful because we made her too powerful. And the voices definitely aren't just assuming. Cold and Paranoid in particular never assume. And the line is "It's only unpleasant if you think it's supposed to be unpleasant." Cold is talking about pain here, but the way he says shows he knows a lot more about us than he lets on, especially when it comes to our true nature.
