When you weld the doors, comments say go slow, that's correct, but weld a piece of angle iron across the door, small tacks to hold it, it will keep it from warping and pulling everything out of square/flat. As far as I know, those rear chrome clips are unobtanium new. Don't throw them away. Gonna have to hit up a boneyard and find extras. Just clean them up and reuse. I'm pretty sure they're just rubber coated in something similar to tool handle dip coating. If you do find new ones, there are a bunch of FSJ people hunting them. Including myself. When welding large patches, I find the grinding part is more prone to warpage. So, I use a dremel with a small cutting disc to slowly nip away at the weld crowns, then flap disc the last little bit. Like others have said, slow and patient with patch work. And yeah, I'm a Jeep guy, but that tired 360 is definitely smogged too much for burnouts without proper gearing. Wagoneer axles don't have that gearing. People really don't realize how much smaller the FSJ platform is compared to other makes especially in the cab area. Impressive Gnome pilgrim!
