I use to work at a gas station in a swankier suburb. We had an air hose outside connected to our shop compressor and it had 125PSI in it. People would stop by all the time to fill up their bicycle tyres. They would put the chuck on and just hold it there until the tyre popped with a loud bang. We always could hear it from inside and we all got a good laugh, fun times.

Guess they didn't know how to do a quick burst and check the feel. I used a gas station with free air that was nearby for years without issue. My road bike tires are 110-120psi. They would handle 125 just fine. Guess people are idiots. Now I have had tubes rupture on me when when pumping them with hand pump. Either because of previous patches or made in China quality. Hadn't even reached the proper pressure yet.

Auction car loading question. If a car is run and drive ( as in can drive at normal speeds ) will the auction allow the buyer to load into a trailer or is forking the car to the trailer required?
@vehcor29 күн бұрын
They bring it out with the loader and will set it on the trailer, next to the trailer or in the middle of the lot if you want to drive it home. If you have a high end car, you can pay extra and they will not bring it out with a loader and you can go get it in the yard. That is a gimmick because it has already been moved with a loader multiple times before it comes up for auction.

IIRC many/most dealers belong to a regional dealer association and they use that buying power with the manufacturer by agreeing to by specific configurations for savings and also to limit losing sales for minor option differences. I remember never seeing a base version of something and being told that to get one you would have to order it and it would cost the same or more than a better optioned unit OTL.

I've been thinking about a 5th Gen upgrade for some time, but I just can't get past the looks on the older 4.5 gen refresh. It's just a clean and rounded look, and I like it better than the 5th gens cladding.

I think this video is a great demonstration of experience and skill combined with a very sharp eye. Use a hammer, ram and sharp eye, and eventually the damaged rear end will fit the taillight, trunk lid and the back door works. The car is mechanically sound, so the body damage is the big issue. A lot of people would have waved this car away to the crusher. I'm very glad it has been saved because it still has a good useful life ahead.
