Honestly the way they all bounce off each other during the bit at 6:15 is something I crave from a friend group I have one day. This and the “I disguise myself as him” when they all immediately jump on the bandwagon are such great moments

What I love about this season is that they have used all the things that usually mean something negative (The ball is rolling up, the dominos are falling, the Wurst) and turning it on its head to be a positive. So really I'm saying Gunnie is my favorite character and Lou is my favorite player.

i love how wholesome and full of belief in others riva is, it’s so different and so much more endearing than the usual blind optimism people will choose their characters to have (something i hate cuz it’s just an excuse to make your character act like a dumbass child). it’s mostly from naivety, but not from lack of information or a disregard for social rules, but from wanting to take every belief a person has and believe in it as well, and then go on to encourage them wholeheartedly. and i realized it’s extra wonderful to me because with their psychic abilities, they knows everyone’s true thoughts and intentions, but i think they don’t realize the total subjectivity of what can be considered “truth” to different people. riva hasn’t met that many non-aquatunisians, and of those they have, they haven’t really met enough people to notice their extremely notable differences in perception. or, since they are just so trusting and positive, it doesn’t even occur to them that they may want to critically compare different minds and experiences - because in their home world everyone shares a common experience through that psychic link, and therefore subjectivity is a foreign concept to them. it just makes sense: why would you think of subjectivity when you’ve never been explicitly taught about it’s existence? overall it’s just super fascinating and super great character work and worldbuilding. but also imo riva’s just SO cute!! i can’t help but smile when they’re talking. i love siobhan’s accent she gives them, i love their mannerisms, i love how joyous they are to just be a part of the crew and participate…..ugh i just love them. i guess i’m guillermo del toro because i love this fish person.

@@samrogers5090 I think they were talking about subjectivity of individual experience, unless I read that wrong... aquatunisians perform their own individual actions, but share the common psychic link, such that their *individual* experience isn't exactly "subjective" in the way that yours is. You have your own experiences, and no one else knows unless you tell them. For Aquatunisians, they have their own experiences, but would have no meaningful reason to assume they are the only ones who have a first-person memory of it, and so things that rely on the subjective exclusivity of your experience don't really exist. No one can or would ever think to lie, and humor would only be incidental, as jokes most often rely on a misdirect or the other party not knowing something. Hope I gleaned the right information from the parent comment, and hope I helped you, in some way.

Their voice is cracking bc they're taking Testosterone, which causes like a "second puberty"; so it is generally getting deeper but it's cracking a lot so it sounds higher pitched at times
