Chad, I have an AGH that had to go in a small pen for a fairly long period and he got enormously huge. I was able to finely able to move him into a nice pasture with my goat does. He could move around more and had great grass to eat along with the pig feed. I lowered the amount of pig feed, added hay and along with the grass and he is moving well, has lost weight and seems much happier.

Smokey is a Beautiful girl and the Highlander's are stunning! Our son and their children raise pigs and shows them and about Lola he said that it could be the weather but, just keep an eye on her and if she gets worse then you're on the right track making sure to not breed her if she's not already pregnant. He said to possibly put a heat lamp on her if she is bred where she lays. He also said it sounds like you are on the right track. Goodluck and Thanks for sharing your animals with all of us! When I lived on a small farm animals who were not productive in some way (eggs, babys or raise for food) they either were made into food or sold ~ Except the Horse she was a pet.

I will be 64 middle of April and as a kid we had dogs and blew in their faces and they did like Smoky also when we would go in the car and have the windows down those dogs would be out the windows as far as we would let them loving the wind and it was more then blowing at them and it never hurt them. they loved it. :)

With our dogs, when they couldn't get up it was related to kidney failure...just a thought... I'll say it again....Fred wants more pellets....he's a growing boy

Chad has mentioned it multiple times that the pellets aren't really a part of their regular diet. He uses the pellets only on days when they are recording videos so the cattle get used to coming to them. They still have lots of grass and hay to eat

That is all I have been done g most of day is praying for my mom. She had a massive stroke this morning. It is all in theLords hands now! It is most likely just a matter of time. Mom has not responded at all today. But mom is my only parent left. But if rbecLord wants her I am not standing in her way!! She will be missed daily but she will be with family and my dad! God love her! Sorry I st went off. Can not blame Adler for staying inside with Grandma he is warmer! Smar boy!

I say a prayer for them, also. Every time. I love your sarcastic jokes! Yes, I have raised 2, in my family. One dressed out at 300, the other one barely did 250. Both made delicious chops, bacon, sausage and tenderloin! It’s been 40 years since the last one. I’m not positive what breed they were, BUT, the heavier one had to be lifted into the trailer. She could not walk. I guess that means separate her to see if she improves. My opinion, for what it’s worth. MERRY CHRISTMAS, Chad and boys!! Stay safe! Blessings

Love the Coos ... so friendly. It was 26 here this morning in Central Kentucky and very frosty also. Going to get into the teens in the morning, another cold front dropping down during the night. I had to stop the video as soon as you said you taught your boys that whenever they hear sirens they should stop and pray. My mother did that all her life but never told me until I was an adult and I adopted the practice on the spot. All I knew was that she'd stop talking sometimes in the middle of a conversation, then pick up where she left off after a moment or two. (There's LOTS more to that story, but I'll leave it at that.) You're the only other person I've ever met who does that. I'll head off to bed tonight, happy.
