Mine had a little QC issue with her right arm falling off but a dab of glue fixed it (it did not affect her movement). She definitely needed a head sculpt with her hair flowing in the wind and swapping out her hands is definitely fidgety with the cape situation. I still love her though. I desperately want a good Rogue figure and the Marvel Legends one just doesn't do it for me. Mafex needed to make her yesterday. I don't think they had the foresight of 97 being so popular. The iron is hot!

You don't have to hope for it. They'll do it. You're probably new at Mafex, they have a ton of line ups and it takes some time for them to announce it but they'll definitely do it. Return of Superman needs 5 figures and it took nearly 3 years to get there 😂. Also, it doesn't help with everyone begging for reissues.

I may have just solved the puzzle of your "incomplete" claw grabber!! Though, maybe you've solved it yourself since the video was recorded. Anyway.... 2 of the pieces come already assembled together. You have to remove the post from the bottom of the "alternate claw", then you can slide that same claw onto the "crotch-grabber". I had the same confusion with my Mafex Comic Spider-Man that I just purchased. 2 of the grabber pieces were already assembled, I thought I was missing a piece, but I realized I could take them apart to add the crotch-grabber to the claws. Thanks for the fun review videos. I hope this helps!

Loving these Mafex X-Men reviews and that Mafex have been reissuing them and the Spider-Man figures as well. Really hoping we get the rest of the X-Men TAS/Jim Lee style line up (Rogue, Beast, Jubilee and Prof X in a hoverchair, plus hopefully a Morph) :)

would be nice if the hair was segmented in the middle near the base of the neck with a balljoint. i always wondered by toy makes dont do articulated hairs. i just fouind some anime figure that had exactly this thing i always envisioned and it works so well on it and its a long ass thick hair.i guess even a hinge would do it,hidden inside

You might not have Storm on a flight stand bc she's still in the box😁. In all seriousness Storm has always been my favorite female X-Men character. Maybe it's bc I grew up in the 80's, the Mohawk with storm in her white suit doesn't look good. I prefer the mohawk with her black attire. Plus this mohawk looks more like fluff. Years ago marvel legends released the version of storm with a Mohawk I prefer. The hair looked more realistic. I'll most likely buy this one too. Bc I can never have too many Storm figures.

I bought her for $80 on Amazon a month ago and returned her a few days later. I really wanted to love this figure because of the Jim Lee art style, but I couldn't overlook two things: 1) The hair coloring really ruined it for me. Storm's hair is white. Not light gray. Not pale blue. White. This pale gray-blue wash they gave her hair is just baffling to me. There are different shades of white they could have used for more accuracy while also making it distinguishable from the white of her suit. And while the hair sculpt is very impressive, it limits her head/neck articulation. 2) Her ankle joints had such a limited range of motion that flight poses didn't look realistic. Contrasted next to the Mafex AoA Magneto I bought in conjunction with Storm, the poor ankle articulation was even more noticeable. Magneto's ankles allowed that perfect pointed foot positioning to simulate flight. Meanwhile, Storm's feet can't achieve the same angle. I thought about using an X-ACTO knife to cut away some of the material around her Achille's tendon to allow for more range of motion, but I didn't want to risk screwing it up. Unfortunately, since the Mafex Jean Grey uses the same body sculpt, I'll have to pass on that one as well.
