She was never his GF, he was a placeholder. The amount of disrespect some of these guys are prepared to entertain for these creatures that aren’t worth the time of day is staggering. Guys if you are with a girl that is supposed to be with you (five months or even the first date frankly) and she starts making moon eyes, flirty comments or overtures to another dude in front of you that’s the end of it. Evaporate and let her go ride the carousel and deal with her consequences. Know your worth, have confidence. Better to be alone.

Does it matter? I have a long story. It's about my aunt. Basically she tore a new one to a guy that was standing close to her in line. I told her she overreacted. My aunt said, I am a married woman. No stranger should ever feel comfortable getting this close to me.

Her pride was hurt when you were the one breaking up with her. That send her into a rage because her fragile ego couldn't deal with it. And yeah I do think she didn't have a lot of respect for you to begin with, if she did, she'd never have flirted with your friend right in front of you. You handled it well my dude. It seems counter intuitive but whenever a girl throws abuse like this your way, the worst thing you can do to her is respond with silence. It drives them insane. I tried and tested it with exceptional results.

Ben Shapiro once said that if as a girl, you want to keep your man happy in a long and and lasting relationship, you need to provide him with lots of the following: respect, sex and food. I would like to add that this the correct order too and that there is SOME wiggle room in which you can exchange some of one for the other. This man clearly lacked in the respect he received. First advice was the worst. Looks like it was from a loser. "confront her and tell her how you feel!!!" PATHETIC. Best comment was when the guy told him about her finding her old crush and putting OP in the second place. Which gave him the courage to break up with her and be the winner, instead of waiting to get cheated on like the loser who wants to talk about feelings. No wonder guys get cheated on.
