Colo and jay come down to my hometown waldron and fish hinkle lake, bass are loaded and alot of crappie. Id bring boat but be very careful, there are alot out of stumps and i mean alot. Also love Gilliam and beaver lake and if you fish Oklahoma wister is good but cedar lake in Oklahoma is the best bass lake ivenever been too. Would love to show you around hinkle though. Keep up the positive vibes and fish on. My favorite spillways/dams are ozark, dardenale and blue moutain.

There used to be rule of thumbs for color and water clarity. As a kid, use yellow, catch all kind of bream. Same days, same water, go to white, catch crappie and bass, not many but it made that difference. Like cane pole fishing w cork, weight, hook & weight. Catching 2-3 finger size bream. My friends dad suggested we strip the bobber and weight. Then we started catching plenty of hand size bream. The Old Farmers Almanac is good for a Solunar time, when fish will bite as time frame. Then often has little fish secrets.
